So after the 1st WMTSB, Sandy got sealed but he already did a lot of damage to the pandemonium and Lucifer have to keep watch of the prison and also be a good "father" to Sandy at the same time. Bub just teleported in, backstab Lucifer and cut his head off because he was weakened and distracted. Lucifer was so strong that Sandy whom just got his power and don't even know how to use it probably bitch slapped Belial, made Bub's retreat and defeat Avatar with it. Sandy 12 wings also not just randomly appear in the final showdown. He already have 2 wings originally, another 4 wings for each element that the other primarchs gave him and six white wings from Lucifer.
So basically a prodigal biologist became one of the granblue world's most dangerous walking talking genocide death machines with wings, got it. Goota say, Cygames knows how to make even the most generic of antagonist tropes sound alarmingly interesting.

I think Astrals are alien like beings from a different dimension more focused on a science rather than a magic. That's why they are more chaotic and normally scholars. But i imagine they have such an easy but horrible life in their world they decided to branch out and attack Sky Realm all those years ago and it was easy to conquer. I say this because I've only just got to the end of the mobile game, I don't quite get things going on, but obviously I've seen characters from later on that had as appearance intrigued me. So there's probably a Sky Realm equivalent "god" of each Astral, that lives out of sight or secretly amongst skydwellers in different forms that has a powerful astral counterpart that was defeated or is roaming in the world. I bet there's some form of one of these "Gods" that is trying to do some shady business which is what opened a rift to the Astrals. That the end game is probably to awaken Lucilus to help you defeat this villain that has been effecting reality, similar to why Lucilius hates everything, but you are doing it because you now kow how it ends if you don't shake it from its predetermined path.
Good explaination i suggest you work more on a pacing and how you space between lines and word it will help you alot with the smoothness of storytelling

Just think of Relink as a side story. Whether it's canon or not, I do not know.
