what i liked the most to ledley king was his ability to read the game , he was so smart and strong in the air , also he was fast , unlucky injures never let him to show full potential
I am a Real Madrid fan and I wish we had signed him instead of Woodgate. I could have at least said that the best English centre-back of the modern generation played for my favourite club.
One of the best cb I've personal seen at Tottenham, and god knows how much better he would of been with better quality defenders by his side. Always remember his last England game were he did his knee bad in the first few minutes and played on until half time. True legend
I'm an AFC fan. But sometimes, just sometimes, one has to sensible, realistic and honest and give credit where it's due. L.King was a genuine World Class Player, no doubt about that. Yeah, he was good at the back. But on those rare occasions when he played defensive midfield, no one was getting the better of him either in the air OR on the ground! He was the English version of Marcel Desailly. It's so sad that unlike M.Desailly L.King was never and could never fulfil his full potential.
Can't believe how little he's talked about these days. One of the most underrated defenders of all time in my opinion. Big respect to this man!
Should get an icon in Fifa
Best English CB of all time.
Ledley King; our relax button. When our defence was under pressure, along came Ledley and... relax.
Everyone who played with Ledley speaks about him in the most glowing terms

A legend and a gentleman. A loyal gladiator! No drama on or off the field, should be given more recognition!
His passing never gets talked about but he could spot a pass.
God save the real king, our ledley
Finally a football compilation video where I don't have to press mute
No injuries, he would of been top 5 CB in prem history 😊
What I would give to have him at Tottenham now
I can't describe the amount of love I have for this man.
What a player this guy was. Without injuries he would be talked about in the same breath as JT and Rio - Chelsea fan
That feeling of safety when you saw King on the team sheet.
Great that he is involved again at Spurs. Single best player i've seen in my 20 odd years as a fan, that's including Bale, Modric, Kane etc.

An inspiration - I had the pleasure to shake his hand and tell him him outside Wembley before the Chelsea League Cup Final.
