It's true. He was a classy, strong, Rolls Royce of a player. Played with one knee a lot of the time and was probably a better player than Rio overall. This will be controversial to man united fans , and maybe those kinds of people that love to hate spurs like it's their job, but it's probably the truth. Ledley was an extraordinary player.
Very glad Steven said Ledley. He was an unbelievable player and he never gets a mention. A massive shame about the condition of his knees. As a lifelong football fan and long-term sufferer of osgood schlatter, I really feel for such an unfortunate forced early retirement 🙏 Especially for such an incredible player 🙏

Are you knew to football? I've seen many pundits and ex-players say Rio was the best. I love Vidic and Stam but Rio could do everything.
Stam and Vidic were better than Rio. He consistently switched off over the years. Concentration was a big issue for him. Vidic had one game where Torres burnt him. Stam was unplayable.
