Great to see you back! Our daughter is 3 now and loves her little film point and shoot. She also took her first pictures on my Rolleiflex. You'll have a photography companion sooner than you think.
Any video from Awesome Cameras is always enjoyable. The colors in the GC video footage seemed more vibrant than the 400H photographs. Maybe that's the palette profile. I've never shot with that film. The Camera seemed to be having real issues with the auto-focus. I wonder if it was the batteries supplying less voltage than necessary due to the cold weather. If you didn't put new batteries in before shooting the roll, that may be the culprit. I have never used that particular model of Olympus point-n-shoot.
Welcome back man. It's gotta be tough finding the time to record and edit as a new parent. My kids are in their teens now, so I don't know the struggle but can imagine it might be a challenge. 🙂
Thanks and yes it's definitely a struggle to say the least! I've got so many videos planned out, but zero time to actually film them, oh well, I'll get to them when I can... Thanks for sticking around!
@@AwesomeCameras I hear you bro. No matter how much time we have, it's never enough haha. I've started batch recording vid footage and it has been a game changer. Looking forward to your new vids 🙂
Great video dude! Epic to see a new episode. Are you located in southern California? I’m an Aussie and have road tripped and surfed most of the coast and miss it... so more of anything on the California coast. Oh man I miss the Mexican food more than anything, it’s terrible over here in oz.🤙
How did you feel about the 400H at the GC? I shot it when I was there too but regretted it because the color palette was so subdued. Ektar or Velvia would’ve been choice imo👌 Also I have an mju with even worse focus. Mine’s like if I get a sharp photo it’s a fluke.
Welcome back. I picked up a cheap Mju ii Zoom today and then like an hour later this spookily popped up, anyone know how the zoom compares to the original Mju ii?
Want to try something new? Try an ONDU 135. Nope, I don't work for them, it's just that it's one of my favourite cameras and I'd love to see what someone else makes of it. Here's what I've done: www.flickr.com/photos/dank_spangle/albums/72157711720003578. Also, great to see you back.
The Mju cameras and most other point 'n' shoots from that era are notoriously bad with auto focus and reflections. It will pretty much latch on to any reflective surface (windows, water, snow etc) even if a person is right in front of the middle focus point. Happens with my Yashica T4 too.
Im a simple man, I see an AwesomeCameras video, I watch and like it. Always a good day when you come out with a new vid man!
Haha, thanks dude!
So good to hear from you again Joey! Hope all is well!! ❤️
Thanks Spencer! Life is good over here!
WELCOME BACK !
Thanks! Feels good to finally get a new video up on the channel!
I miss this channel!
We've got some videos coming! Fear not!
great to see you back! txs for the video!
pro400h is great. I love it
I know! I can't believe it took me so long to start shooting it
The Grand Canyon photos bring back nice memories, I went there in summer 2005 but it looks very nice also with some snow. Thanks for sharing!
Great to see you back!
Thanks Eric!
happy to see this pop up! like 3:52 a lot, has a great vibe. definitely interesting seeing snow at the grand canyon!
Thanks so much! Ya! It was a trip to see it all snowy. You think about it being the the desert so the snow seems out of place :)
Nice shoot Joey
Damn, a real shame the film was discontinued!
I dig this video.. I dig it very deep
Thanks Will! Had alot of fun making this one!
Lovely content Joey! My goto point and shoot with my favorite film.
Loving the pro 400h, quickly becoming one of my faves

Great! WELCOME BACK !

Haha, that's the GOPRO for you! They make everything look so vibrant ;)
Dig it man, love that RV
Thanks dude! Miss ya!
Very cool man..
Thanks so much!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We got him.
What did you get me?
AwesomeCameras an audience!

Nope, straight out of the camera :) thanks so much!

Heyyy, ya were in Orange County. Come on back, let's surf!

I loved this video! maby you could shoot some street fotography next time... that would be cool
Thanks! Street is not really my thing, but I definitely want to do a video or 2 about it at some point :)
Could be motion blur from the tiny form factor while pressing down a bit too hard on the shutter button?
I doubt that. These were all shot in bright daylight so it would have been at a fast shutter speed
Welcome back. I picked up a cheap Mju ii Zoom today and then like an hour later this spookily popped up, anyone know how the zoom compares to the original Mju ii?
Maybe a comparison video is In order ;) not sure how exactly they compare, but I've heard the zoom was originally more expensive than the mju ii!
@@AwesomeCameras I look forward to it 👍
Can i know why your pic out foucs at 3.48 ?
I talked about it a bit at the end of the vid. But I think it had to do with light reflection off the snow

I'll have to check one out! Been wanting to try pinhole out for a while

Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. :)
Have to say your wife is too beautiful for you, and I mean that in a respectful way. You got lucky finding her.
Can't say I disagree ;)
