I wanted a nice background to propose to my girlfriend so in 1986 I told her to pack her bags because we are going on a long roadtrip. We drove from Queens, NY to the Grand Canyon where I proposed at sunset. She said YES and we've been married ever since.
Thank you AK ! No other channel shows the Grand Canyon like you do ! The approach by an every day schmo and all the things we run into 👍. This will help husband and I decide how to see it at our age . Who’s the pretty lady ?lol
Simply Amazing! Even the view from just watching you is astoundly breathtaking! Looking at the viewers going towards the edge gave me goosebumps! Beautiful to look at but I wouldn't want to be there! Thanks so much for sharing. 👍😊🤣
Thank you for making this video. I saved it to show my husband. We're visiting there in a few days--never been there. I appreciate the "simplicity" of your presentation. I've seen others and I just wanted something straight to the point and basic for our need.
Thanks AK for taking the time to look at one of the most amazing places in my back yard!! It truly is a breath taking experience when you see it for the first time!!
Great coverage of Mather Point. It is Majestic!!! I don't recommend July for going there. We went last week of October. Great weather for hiking Grand Canyon trails, and except for once, we always found parking available at the Village and different RIM trails .
I remember going here when I was around 22 years old as one of the last family vacations before I moved out and got married. I was in awe of the place. I am not kidding when I say, I was speechless. Look at 9:21. The way the colors fade as you look further out, it simply looks like it's a photo or fake. It's that spectacular. I can't describe the feeling I had, it was just amazing. I highly recommend anyone looking to go, to do it when you have the opportunity.
This is absolutely beautiful, amazing and gorgeous there! Breathtaking scenery ⛰️ love those mountains at 12:3017:08 and nice walking trail at 20:10. Feels like a dream at 29:57 and 33:25 😮 Legendary selfie at 34:03 👏 👏 🎉 Very informative tour with @Rosiediaries Quality as always, will last years to come! Thanks so much my friend. 👏
Grand Canyon here you go AK...a very renowned destination to be there...never heen there though l traveled to LA often..challenges aplenty 😅naturally even, drink lots of water...surprisingly so many tourists come to see the landscape 🎉😂
@@ActionKid I think so too. You spend the night in the canyon in a cabin and they serve a steak dinner, but I think there is like a two-year waiting period after you sign up before you can take the trip.
I just came home from a photography trip to the Grand Canyon. First in 2022, when I saw most of the south rim overlooks. And this year I focused more on the north rim. It’s really worth seeing both rims. Unfortunately, the altitude takes more of a toll on me now. It’s a love-hate relationship. I love the awesomeness of it, and it scares me and fills me with great anxiety. But I keep going back for the beauty! LoL
I have a life time disability pass that I get to visit any of the National Parks. I got it back in 2006 at Yosemite National Park in California. It is good for a life time and I used it a couple of times.
I'm amazed at all the different colors of the rocks. Those people standing on those ledges w/o a guardrail sure trusts those rocks/boulders. And you said it was windy also!! Smh
I hiked north rim to south rim last September in one day, it was 24 miles across took me about 17 hours the last 3 miles coming up the canyon is the most brutal
I was just there a few days ago… I drove from vegas. Me and my wife hiked all the way to the Colorado river. It was challenging but a beautiful experience
It has been a very exciting US 🇺🇸 tour for The Actionkid ! The " Heat Dome " has followed him but not conquered him. AK says " no sweat " to the heat ! ☀️ & carries on. 🐼
The views are out of this world! 😍 I see people risked going to the edges to capture the the views. 34:00 Nice picture of you with the Grand Canyon in the background. 😎 Good to see Rosie again in this walk, and thank you for sharing this amazing experience, AK! 🤗
@@alibhg3063 Yes, I believe the Skywalk is on the other side. It looks intimidating and fascinating at the same time. They don't allow cameras or cellphones, so AK said he wasn't going to do that walk.
Beautiful National park at Grand Canyon and you had a nice company with Rosie ,what else anyone could need🤔Beautiful sceneries along your way too so 😎Thank you for sharing A K 🙂👍!!!
Thanks Action Kid, I hope you show all the other national parks and all the scenic driving in Arizona, Utah and Colorado. In my opinion I think AZ, UT, NM and CO are the most beautiful states even though I've never been to them.
$35 per car admission fee is a fare price to see such a magnificent wonder as the Grand Canyon . It helps the up keep of the park and the safety of the people who visit the region . They really have done alot of work especially the signs of which walk to take , and I the pathways for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc well done to management .
Holy crap!! It doesn't look real. It looks like those old western movies in the 50's with the fake background Lol!! I'm glad you got a chance to visit. And also Rosie
I missed a flight out of Phoenix, years ago, and had a day to kill. I rented a car and drove to the GC by myself. I parked, got out, walked to the edge, said wow to myself, turned around, walked back to the car, and drove back to Phoenix. Trust me, it’s better with company.

Do you know this is total bull crap!….. My great uncle was on the team that dug the Grand Canyon in the late 50s! Walt Disney was going to build a theme park in the area to be called Disney Stone but then he heard about some cheap swamp land in Florida. yeah before that it was really just flat desert not much going on I mean it took a few weeks and a lot of heavy equipment but they got it done. I’m really proud of my uncle…………..Dooooooooooooough!

4x empire state deep.
If possible, can you go to the north rim?
So visit all the best haunted houses and fall foliage please?
Approximately three times the depth of the Empire State Building.
29:58 Great Canyon
Why there’s no clouds if it’s taller than The Burj Khaliffa Building?
The Grand canyon is over four Empire State buildings deep.
