No . They are very different and difficult as a pet. We have had two (2). The tail could corkscrew and require constant attention. Their ears get infected. The folds on their faces get infected. There stomachs are sensitive . Bulldog rescues are full because people want them for cuteness. But the time and expense is not worth it for them. Our daughter is looking at a rescue now. So sad when they are dumped. We care for dumped Bulldogs sometimes but mentally I can’t take the pain. They are artificially inseminated and delivered by veterinary medicine staff.
