  • I did this video on my 2018 KTM SX 250, but the process is the same for any bike you may have! I will leave a link to the Boyesen website below as well as the super-cooler kit I mentioned too! Shoutout to Chris Beddiges from RRP Cycle Stuff for all the help over the past years on all my bike related questions! If you are located in the New Jersey area, give my guy Chris a visit! You wont be disappointed!

    Mine is leaking 😢 says 78 in lb im already at 90 should i go tighter 😮

    • @therealek47
      @therealek47  5 месяцев назад

      No! If you're at your torque spec and it's still leaking, you may have a knicked gasket or oring, or it may not be seated properly. Take is off, inspect and clean it and try again. Check the mating surfaces to make sure there's no gouges or large scratches either

    • @rockman49er
      @rockman49er 5 месяцев назад

      @therealek47 there is no gouges no nicks all cleaned brand new gaskets and boysen cover I can push on the gasket and it moves in-between the bolts it was fine with the original cover and was fine when I put the new cover on I changed the gasket because I installed nickel hardware bolts on it my tourqe wrench is new electronic 70 dollars ebay one it's like the gasket is to thin is how I would explain it

      @therealek47 no they are the same it's almost like the new cover is warped have you ever heard of this maybe I should put it on a piece of glass and check with gage what do you think

    • @therealek47
      @therealek47  5 месяцев назад +1

      @rockman49er that's a good idea, if it's a factory defect, they should replace it for you. Also check your case, maybe that could be warped as well. Another idea is to make sure you ordered the correct cover and if you received the correct cover. I've ordered a part that does not fit my bike even though it claims it does
