Behind the Scenes of Flip Bike - Are we really flipping mountain bikes?

- Flip Bike is a series where we buy old mountain bikes, fix them up, and sell them for a profit. This video is a look behind the scenes of Flip Bike. From where we get the bikes, to where we get the parts, to how we take the photos, this video explains it all!

I really enjoy this series on your channel. I teach high school Agriscience (most areas call it "Shop") and we have just started restoring bikes as a way to introduce my students to basic mechanics, specialty tools, and even some more in-depth sandblasting and painting basics. The program is still in its infancy, but the kids are really digging it. We plan donate the bikes to programs such as Christmas Angel Tree, Foster Care, local churches that are taking care of families, and even some of our students that we know are in need. I may start including some of the "Flip Bike" series as assignments for them to complete on the days that I have to be out of the classroom.
That would make u a legendary teachers
That's so cool!!! Wish other hs had one too. Sounds super practical and useful while also encouraging kids and the community to use bikes
Thats so awesome! If I where to live near you, i'd totally donate my old bike
Gotta check out oldshovel videos then
@@tysemilicia3931 Thank you! Just trying to teach the kids a few things, make it fun, and helping out in the community all at once.
This guy man. I owe my progression on bmx. I was depressed. I almost ended it all. And the I started watching him. And he pushed me to get back in to bmx. And now I’m moving to Arkansas and I’m going to do some farm work and get some money to buy a real full suspension mountain bike. Thank you Seth🙏🙏🙏🙏
Flip bike has actually really grown on me. I love the series, all the bikes are less than $1,000 which makes them super upgradable. Hard to get that with a $3,000 or $4,000 mountain bike.
Same
That's why I only buy the frame then buy specific parts.
well, technically 3k-4k bikes are extremely upgradeable, the parts just get crazy pricey. but at that point the differences made by the upgrade are less noticeable. the upgrades really do make more of a difference when on a cheaper bike.
I would say that 3000-4000 are even more upgradeable, it's just that at point an upgrade is going to be 200-1600$
Agreed... A 250 dollar wheelset on a entry level hardtail is a good way to rejuvenate the bike, and VERY easy to sell if it's sized smaller for JR mtb racers
I flipped bikes for several years and apart from the brief covid boom, it just wasn't worth the effort; the vast majority of buyers didn't realise or appreciate the difference between my fully serviced and rejuvenated bikes versus the other used bikes on offer that have had zero servicing and need lots of work to be rideable.
The biggest probplem most people have when listing their bikes is that they don't include the size. This is super-frustrating when shopping for a bike, expescially if you need something XL, like me. Sometimes they list the wheel size, which can also be helpful but honestly one of the most important things to list is the frame size. It will save you from having to answer those unnecessary messages. The second problem I see is that they don't take nearly enough photos. You nailed this one. People are visual shoppers so the more photos the better. And for goodness sake, wash the damn bike first!!!! Grat content as always Seth. Thanks,
XL? What are you, 7 feet tall? People think they need huge frames because they've looked at a chart or otherwise been told so. I have two mid-1980s BMX bikes, both with 18.5" long top tubes. A chart I just looked up tells me that an 18.5" TT is for riders who are 4' to about 4' 8" tall.
I'm 6' 2" tall, barefoot, and I have no problem riding either bike; not even close to being cramped. I have the handlebars on both of them exactly vertically oriented; one of them has a laid-back seat post (because it came that way from the factory) and the other has an ordinary straight seat post. Because the seat tube of the one with the straight seat post has a more rearward angle than the other bike, the seat ends up at about the same distance from the handlebars on both bikes (about 18" from the front tip of the seat to the handlebars' crossbar).
When pedaling while sitting down, my knees never get closer than about 8" from the handlebars when riding in a straight line, and if I sit on the seat with my back completely straight and reach for the handlebars, I can't reach them (they are about an inch or two too far away to touch).
Average height guys these days, 5' 9, 5' 10', all seem to think they need a 21" or longer TT; it makes no sense at all.
@@MaximRecoil I’m 6’5” so, yes, I prefer an XL frame in most instances. I have riden some bikes where a large is just fine as well.
@@JeffRevellI'm right there with you. I'm 6'4" and 360lbs. I hate it when sellers don't list much on sizing. I'm also generally an XL, but some Larges work for me if they're set up correctly. Drives me nuts when they either don't list a size or what heights the bike might be good for.
My boys and I love watching flip bike! So much so that when it came time to get my oldest a bigger bike, he was more excited to get a used one that we could clean up and upgrade together than to get something brand new.
So yeah, flip bike is also unknowingly inspiring father/son time!
I actually really appreciate the outlook you have on "Flipping". Most simply buy something cheap then list it for double the price without touching it. You're keeping it true and honest and actually doing a service of giving someone a tail ready bike for less than a new bike would cost, rather than screwing over the buyer for a dollar.
Flip bike is my favorite series that you do Seth. I recently used one of them to show my brother (who was in the market for a new bike) what makes real bicycles so expensive over department store bicycles.
You do a great way of showing what makes a quality bicycle and what are the proper modifications to make.
Keep up the good work dude
Flip bike will never get boring no matter how many people. I’ve wanted a show like this for years and more of it won’t hurt
I really love these flipbike episodes. There are many old gems in the used bike market that go way back to one's own childhood when one was staring at those bikes in the shop windows and not having been able to cough up the huge cash. Especially road bikes and very expensive brands. Now today one gets them almost for free or very cheap (that's before Covid and biking for social distancing), but often in poor neglected condition. Fixing them up, put on some modern upgrades and often they turn out like new old stock bikes and are a joy to ride. And selling them for cash for a new bike project is easy because there are so many folks out there who love the good retro stuff. Some bikes are like a Ferrari 308 GTS, old and obsolete. But riding it feels like being in Magnum P.I., being young and energetic again... :)
Well said!
What I was expecting to the question “are we really flipping bikes” was “no, it’s all staged”
I’m glad it’s not and I’m really happy for the bike community and Seth’s contribution to it with these series
I just wanted to say that all of Berm Peak and especially flip bike has been my motivation to get into mountain biking and that I didn't need to drop $500+ on something brand new for an activity I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to yet. Your videos have given me an inside view of everything that can go into...well, everything. Funnily enough it wasn't until I watched this that I realized the bike I bought, a Diamondback Response, was the same as one used in an earlier flip bike. Time to watch through that again for some inspiration!
@9:29 Going for the throat. I LOVE it. There are so many channels that I ride on the wake of your ideas. I see them every day in my youtube suggested videos. Taking your ideas and pumping out videos with 1/10th the production value for some views.
i always look forward to flip bike vids. i just recently upgraded my 5-year old bike (all stock) and i feel happy once it was done. i get that same feeling when watching these vids! it's like a fusion of old bike with modern techs, or the mere fact that an old, wornout bike gets a second chance to be used again! :)
if you put fresh stock parts on an older vehicle, you're restoring it, not upgrading it.
@@StanleyKubick1 nah bro. my 5-year old bike, had all stock parts. :) i replaced everything (1x 12s setup, dropper post, tubeless tires, etc).
@@oo0024 sorry my post was confusing :p but i changed the parts. what i meant to say was my 5-year old bike had stock parts, which i replaced with new ones
@@jrompolo5264 ahh that sounds good well enjoy the upgrades and keep cycling 🚴♀️
Flipbike episodes are the ones i really enjoy.. ofcourse after i watched all of the hacks, flipbike episodes reeled me in and gets me excited everytime.. just the process of picking up a bike, washing, fixing, updating, testing, and eventually selling it is plain entertaining and inspiring well if youre into fixing and restoring stuff.. more flipbike episodes seth, your great at it..
When you are a content creator with an audience to please, you don't always get to do what you love the most - so I'm very happy to learn you love Flip Bike as much we do, because we also want a happy Seth
The very first Flip Bike "episode" involved losing money, and from that it told me what the whole thing was about and I was sold. I love watching the work that goes into these bikes and it's great watching people get great bikes that are really affordable for them.
You are on rad dude Seth. So amazing to see you giving back to folks in this way. Thanks for the example, the wisdom, and the tips
A good option for anyone wanting to donate good used parts is a program called “Handlebars of Hope.” It started in Emporia, KS and has recently moved to Brownsville, TX. Matt Brown takes old bikes, rehabs them and puts them in the hands of folks that need them. In the US as well as in Mexico. Basic transportation can really change a life for the better! A great non-profit and worth the effort.
This is one of my favorite series on RUclips. The past 3 years I was living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, there I did the same thing as you, Seth. I loved buying old bikes like (not really, really old but from 2008 to 20XX al least), repair them and resell them. Doing that gave me a strange love for low-mid mid-high tier bikes. I actually like more staring at that type of bike than a high end one (don't miss understand me, I would love to have a nice full suspension lol). Sadly I had 2 problems that me it impossible to continue with that hobby. First, in Buenos Aires more than the half of the second hand bikes are stollen ones (I had a lot of bad experiences where I got to a place to see the bikes and there had the serial numbers grinded), I got to a point where trying to buy one was dangerous. And second, I move to another part of the country where saldy there isn't much love for bikes. This series remind me of that part of my life, It was incredible, the felling of trying a new bike riding to my home after buying it (yes, I didn't use car, only trains and my legs lol) was something that I fell in love with. Thank you so much for your content.
FLIP BIKE is great! Please, keep doing it as long as you can! Except for "how to increase the value of the bike", I really used it as a "How to..." videos to learn how to repair or replace certain parts of my bike. I'm a new in that field, but soooo happy I found the FLIP BYKE series. Learn a lot from it. Thank you!
I love your flipbike series, but I got hooked on your channel, because of your riding videos.
I kinda want more adventure videos. I know it's more difficult now, but still - they're my favourites.
P.s. you're the main reason for my rc crawler addiction.
I saw on some social media he's heading to whistler this spring so we're in lucl
I do not expect him to travel a lot while working on Berm Park and raising a kid, on top of still making videos.
@@edanirz same here, but one can dream!
@@edanirz And that's fair, I tend to agree, but it doesn't mean that I watch the videos at the same rate that I used to. It's not just about travel, it feels like bikes are hardly ridden on the channels at all these days. Could at least do something in Pisgah.
As for Berm Park, maybe I'm the exception but I don't really care. I would have liked more videos on the trailbuilding but couldn't care less about the park itself.
Just when you think damn no more be peak uploads, there's berm peak express to cheer us up
I stumbled across flip bike a while back. I was just in the process of purchasing my own second hand mountain bike to do up! Your series really got me motivated to give it a try! I dove head first into the process and have really loved the experience of figuring out what makes a bike work and how I can service my own.
I never really gave bikes a chance before, but I am really stoked with how my bike project came along and I live for these flip bike episodes now (And all of your other content too!) Glad to feel a part of this movement.

This is a legitimately great video. I really appreciate the tips and tricks that we got from you over this timeframe, and I learned so much overall. The specific tip on the cassette vs freewheel helps out beginners, and the overall vibe of the channel is great for anyone who feels like a new guy in this field. Thanks for taking the time to make these.
Thanks for the flip bike shows. I bought a merida big 40 and thanks to your videos I am flip biking it for me. I bought it for 190 pounds and I am enjoying doing it up and learning bike mechanics.
I like flip bike a ton! I live in an area where good bikes sell extremely quick and all of them hold their value since the town has some of the most popular trails in the state. It’s interesting how much area can affect the market in which you’re shopping for used bikes. I’ve still gotten massively lucky and been able to get two bikes at steals of prices. Learned a lot from this series
Seth...you are a National Treasure when it comes to Mountain Bike Entertainment. Everything from your SETH HACKS, to TESTING OUT WALMART BIKES, to BUILDING MOUNTAIN BIKE COURSES, to FLIPPIN' BIKES...and of course my favorite of all time FREAK BIKES, you've made this in my opinion, the MOST entertaining Mountain Bike Channel on RUclips. Thanks, because it's channels like yours that got me BACK into mountain biking.
Ever since I got hooked into riding bikes again, I've been looking forward to new episodes of Flip Bike.
Not only is it informative and entertaining but I love the process of building as well. Sometimes I prefer to just build a bike than ride it, idk man, the process of building bikes just feels good.
I dont think i’ll ever be disappointed when i finish his videos
I'm always disappointed because they are over^^
I just want to tell you how important your flip bike series is. On one hand we have companies trying to upsell you stuff you don't really need and on the other plenty good bikes that just need some love are being thrown into garbage. So it is important to show that 10 or even 15 years old bike could still be fun and reliable.
U are probably the best mtb RUclipsr to this day.
Flip bike is easily one of my favorite series on RUclips. I never miss an episode. Always click the second the notification pops.
Flip bike is my favorite part of your channel, thanks for doing them!
I stopped watching Seth for a while but now I’m back
Your FlipBike series is AWESOME! Besides enjoying the series & seeing an older bike renewed/reused (which is SO freaking cool) - I really enjoy gleaning ideas of the possibilities for my meager collection of older bikes. It gives me hope that I can refresh some of them so they can be enjoyed for many more years - if not by me then by someone else. Thank you for candor & your efforts.
Thanks for the tip on the Hussfelt stem. They are actually on sale on Amazong for $21 right now. Got one on the way.
They are really solid have two bikes with em now haha.
They are too bulky for my taste.
This is definitely one of my favorite things on the channel. "Flip bike" was me as a kid, although I never was clever enough to try to sell them. My father would bring home bikes he'd pulled from the scrap bin near where he worked and I amassed a collection of parts I would then use to cobble together my own "custom" bike or to fix neighborhood friends bikes.
Didn't matter that it didn't make any money, it was just good fun wrenching with friends and getting our hands dirty so we could go cruise around.
This series got me back into trail riding. Im currently restoring my 2006 kona stuff. Can't wait to ride again.
It is great that you point out that selling bikes for profit is difficult. Getting a used bike is cheap and can be a great way to get to know your ride. I also think it may show folks that you don't have to be intimidated by working on a bike. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate the flap bike series. It encouraged me to rebuild an old hardtail into my winter beater! Giving life to a worn-out bike that sat in the sheld for a few years. Also, if people want to donate parts, look for a bike-specific charity. There is one here in Wisconsin called Rebike Sheboygan. They are a nonprofit that fix up bikes for people in need of an affordable bike. Look around in your area for something similar!
"Until the usual suspects copy it and it becomes boring" That gave me a good chuckle. I'm fairly new to MTB but I have a good idea of who that is. Hopefully it doesn't happen as a new Flip Bike episode is an immediate watch for me.
Seth my 9 & 10 yr old boys are now heavily into restoring and flipping bikes (bmxs and mtbs) as a result of watching your channel
Great video. It is so therapeutic almost to see the upgrade process and then have a bike get new life. Others can try, but You are the OG flip bike master. Keep up the hard work, so much appreciated.
Absolutely love the flip bike episodes, can’t wait for the new flip bikes
I love the Flip Bike episodes so much that I now find myself reading bike specs in Seth's voice. It's like a cameo voice over in my head. Kinda funny to be honest.
I have enjoyed your posts for awhile now. But I especially like this series as I have been flipping bikes as a hobby for about 5 or 6 years now.
You knowing haven't watched seth in probably about a year ish now maybe less but he just came to mind the other day and now he's top of my recommended crazy
I really like the flip bike series because im a road biker and i wanna get into mountain biking and my budget is isnt enough for a new hardtail or even a xc bike soo im currently looking at 2nd hand mountain bike i can buy for cheap and upgrade it into my own liking and flip bike is teaching me a lot of things that what i should do or shouldnt thank a lot this really helps me much love men

Have been following for a while now and gotta say that flip bikes has really grown on me, much so about the process about getting stuff done like the painting portions that you later on dedicated a whole video on it and used that newfound knowledge to my advantage on my own bike which helped tremendously. The business end is like an added bonus for me since in my region its not a really searched for hobby other than gravel or road bikes (Im a MTB junky even tho its plains all around me lol) but what gets me hyped about it is that there are some opportunities to buy pretty good bikes, such as you have, and be able to continue fixing them up in any means possible, even if it is just clean them up, greasing them, and adding them back on the current bike. Of course, the advantage of the backing of some MTB companies helps a lot with part bins but keeping a lookout for some nice decent parts from online really helps onto being able to do small upgrades here and there. Definitely love the process you do and a lot more when new challenges arise and bring us along the way in trial and error until you succeed. Keep up the great work you do!
I think this is great simply based on the undertone that restoring something that is used can be rewarding in multiple ways. Plus, staring at stuff is fun.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Especially this FLIPBIKE SERIES. Because I am getting some ideas on how will I be able to adjust, clean, or to maintain my bikes. I really love how the bikes turns to good bikes to use once again. I hope you'll continue this series!
i love the flip bike series! always hyped when anew one pops up in my notifications !

EVERYONE on Mercari please take what Seth is saying here to heart regarding selling a bike, its valuable info. I have seen countless great bikes simply listed as "Bike" offering no sizes or any other information. People don't seem to understand that a little effort means more money in their pocket...but also there are a lot of scams. So there's that.
I love the flip bike episodes and actually look forward to new ones. keep up the good work. peace and love to you and yours x
Seth this is what I’d do everyday selling used bikes in the uk, oxford, so many students and people want bikes it’s a no brainier. I buy many bikes from eBay. Well done with this channel. I always wanted to do a channel like this but time sometimes is the issue.
I’m from Liverpool England I do the same thing the problem is in Liverpool everything is cheap really cheap so people expect to buy cheap bikes lol if you saw Seth’s last bike he flipped that wouldn’t have been sold for 200 over hear 🤭 flipping bikes is fun but depending on your location it’s hard to sell anything
I love this sires because it teaches me on how to work on my own bike and to tern an old bike like mine into something different, unique, something that I made and I can be proud of.

As a 6’ tall dude who wound up with a Specialized Rumor a size too small for me those Big Long Egregious stems are a lifesaver, lol.
Hey Seth.
Amazing videos, high quality and a great series. Flip Bike reminds me a lot of the old BBC show Wheeler Dealers, and it's very cool to not only go for the biggest score, but for the right new owner as well. Due to a high rate of bike theft in Copenhagen I've been buying second hand bikes for years and replacing key parts to get them back into working condition. Your videos are really inspiring and I'll take all the knowledge you teach into my first from the scratch bike build, when Salsa Fargo frames come back in stock.
Hope to see more flip bike or bike repair videos soon!
Hey Seth, a good hack for bedding in your brake pads faster, is to use water. you can spray the water on the caliper, or another good way is to put some water on the pads and rub them together before you put them on the bike.
Bro this is seriously the best series EVER!
Your flip bike videos are by far my favorite videos to watch on RUclips
That's exactly why I work in car sales. Most people are really excited to take home their new-to-them car. It's rewarding
I own a “beach cruiser” from Walmart I bought from the flea market.. that I ride once or twice with my wife at the river bank. Point is my knowledge and bike experience is close to none but somehow really enjoy all your videos on both channels! Always leaves me with the urge to get into mountain biking!! Thanks for great content Seth 👊🏽

I appreciate the time you put in this videos there educational and gives and idea on what to do on your bike, and what not to upgrade.
So a big thanks for your time and effort.
I bought a old trails bike last years, to electrify it. First time i really took a bike appart and i really dig it !
I plan to build myself another trails bike, only for riding this time, because i had so much fun working on the other one.
I love the series no matter whether or not you flip the bikes.
To give Walmart some credit, they are getting a lot better. Tapered headtubes, one by drivetrains, nice paint, and even dropper posts. I got my buddy into MTB by convincing him to get a Schwann Axum DP. And while it’s not what guys really into the sport are considering, it’s becoming a much better option for newbies. This isn’t me trying to say you should buy them for flip bike, but rather for people reading purchasing their first bike to broaden their horizons. Keep up the quality shiz!
These are 2 of the best channels on RUclips
My favorite section of your channel .
Just Wanted to say, i Really love your videos. They were probably the first ones i watched when i started mountainbiking. The bunnyhop one i guess. Its Been 4 years since then and i still really love What you do. The rockcrawlers also. Thanks, you tought me a lot.
I love Flip Bike because I’ve always had a problem with people giving up on bikes because of one thing or another and them ending up in landfills. I ride an old Trek that I built after finding the frame abandoned in a shopping cart at a park, and I feel like I ride way harder than most of the people with multi thousand dollar bikes around where I live. (I live in California so literally not exaggerating on price)
I love the flip bike series! Looking forward to more episodes!
Flip bike is the best series on RUclips Seth keep it up
Buying and selling things is also a great way to meet other people that are interested in the same thing as you!
Your videos are the thing that keeps me entertained and going while I’m sanding down a full mtb frame to just raw alloy.
Another great video. I have done a few flip bikes over the past 6 months. Those flips paid for my used (but new to me Diamondback Overdrive) which I took a lot of that same knowledge I learned from your videos and flipping bikes and upgrades to where it’s a a pretty sweet ride especially for being less than $250 all in
I swear it’s so cool that Seth can make anything entertaining.
I just fixed up a 90's USA-made Trek MountainTrack that my neighbor was throwing away, the bike was in excellent shape but still needed a $165 in parts that I purchased from Performance Bike and eBay. If you have an REI around they will sell you cables and housing for the best price I have found. This doesn't include a Giant stem and handlebars and cable housing I had lying around. The rims were in decent shape but getting the rim brakes dialed in is another issue that is not worth the hassle for a mediocre bike mechanic. I didn't touch the BB or front derailleur because they seemed to be in working order and front derailleurs are such a PIA. Seth is right about the tires and tubes, that was a little over a 1/3 of the cost for Kenda pavement tires and continental tubes, since it's a contact point I wanted a reputable brand. It's a solid bike but more of a city cruiser than anything else. I'm selling/giving the bike to a friend for the cost of parts and beer.
Keep the series going man I started my own business off of you and took major inspiration from this series
id love to see a video on every that goes into actually flipping a bike; what might be broken, how to change different parts of a bike, what is are the most easily upgradable parts, ect.
Always a good day when u upload
U do wonderful Jon!I admire u from Bucharest România 🇹🇩
Basic rules of taking bike photos: chain in the highest gear; valves at 12 o'clock position; pedals horizontal, right one to the front. And of course: always shoot from the drivetrain side.
So great that you are doing that. In Europe and especially in the cities or not super-rural areas lots of people do that - not so much for mtb's, but mainly for standard city bikes. You can get lost ones for free or few bucks, work a bit on them and give them to a student or anyone who is new in the city for a good price. Not a way to become a millionaire within few months, but it's a time well spent for everyone including the environment.
Thanks for the informative videos, I enjoy the flip bike series very much and have even gone out and found decent run down bikes and upgraded / repaired them and made a little extra cash. Keep it up!
Hello Seth! I have unexpectedly found this channel and I'm happy to know that I clicked a very awesome channel and thank you for letting me know more about bikes especially a MTB, full support man!
Damn im pretty early. Love this series seth🙌
Thank you for being honest about whether you're making money if you account for your time spent on the bike. I like the fact these old bikes are getting some new life and hopefully people are learning that they don't need to be scared about working on their bikes!
Well done Seth. Just getting back into a MTB and enjoying your videos. Thanks.
Definitely love flip bike. I’ve always loved tinkering with bikes but I’m not akin to the newer bikes so it’s like a lesson at the same time.
Flip I think is the best series on your Chanel Seth keep it up 👍
I get the same enjoyment out of upgrading my budget bikes Seth!! It’s addicting fixing bikes up bro!! Love watching the flip series🤘

its 4/18/2022
Hi Seth, new to MTB and new subscriber. Your vids have been helpful in what seems to be an endless sea of options and information. Appreciate the effort!
LOVE Flip Bike! Keep ‘em coming.
I’m about to pick up a GT Outpost Trail. That’ll be a fun project.
Love Flip Bike in part because I like to build up older MTB's myself although I keep them mostly. Most recent is a 1997 Specialized Hard Rock AX. If I had to guess a build-up is a solid 20 hours of work or more. Much of which may be the planning, shopping, and selling portions... but still. I do have a hard time determining a finished value despite keeping a budget sheet.
I just found the flip bike series and binged them all in one go! It's mirroring what I'm doing with my son in order to get his next size jump bike. We can't afford to get him anything new and good for him to grow out of in like 12-18 months. But I found a great deal on an ebay listing that had a bad description, bad pictures, some easily fixed faults and a lot if dirt. Basically a lazy seller. £50 ($65) sniped in the dying seconds, to get a pretty decent non-department store grade, alloy frame, pretty good group, disc brakes, but only a meh fork but decent 24" wheels with tyres that look barely used. Looks like I'll have to only spend for a new 3x shifter and some new brake pads and he's going to spend a load of sweat equity cleaning it up, but underneath is a fantastic paint job too.
The flip side of this was the turd I bought before it, for the same money but with a better name (specialized) but the bike is so bad i overspent like £40 as it basically needs new everything, and the frame isn't that great with a broken (non-replacable... ugh!) Rear mech hanger and generally poor condition paint job littered with actual dents too.
