I will say that I have no clue about the difficulties of using AI. Having said that, I can't for the life of me figure out why the words used in these stories are mispronounced and with incorrect spelling. The alien names sometimes have several spellings? Go figure!
IF you have a quantum displacement engine, that can move anything from anywhere to anywhere. You no longer need a military fleet to attack, nor a merchant fleet. All you need to do is shift an enemy fleet into the nearest star or another galaxy. Then say we wont bring them back unless you are a good boy. Goods and people could just be shifted from planet to planet, you wouldn't need large interstellar ships, just some local small cutters.
This is nothing new. Case in point just because we who learned English know the difference between to, too, and two for one example. Or the many different spellings of words from American English and British English!
My question is, why does earth want to be in the Galaxy chamber. They seem like the United Nation's useless.

Keeps reiterating the same thing over and over....and over and over and over. Oh there are accolades....and over and over.
Tedious, yes?
