Sir 35 days me hum jmi ma English exam crack kr skte hai kya. Sir mera cuet me score nhi aaya acha toh ab please aapki video hi genuine lgi. Sir please help me
First of all relax. See, you can crack Jamia’s exam in less than a month as well, but it all depends on the level of your background readings in BA, your knowledge of history of English literature and thirdly on your command over writing argumentative English essays. Agar aap in sab me pehle se thodre durust hai to 35 days me kaam ho jaega, revision aur guidance ke sath. But if you think ek dam zero se preparation start karo in 35 days, then the chances are pretty slim. Have hope, read as much as you can and, give it a shot.
@@thevinayrajoria sir history of English literature toh ache se samjh aa gya hai. Bss literary theory and criticism ache se nhi aata. English literature me bohot si chiz h pdhne ke liye. Literary terms, terms coined by, awards , Indian literature, American literature, British literature, or bhi others literature ko bhi pdhna hota h toh yahi samjh nhi aata kon sa pehle kre kon sa kb. Sir please kuch toh suggestions digiye
@@azeematfatma Well honestly speaking, I didn’t prepare for neither my BA nor my MA in Jamia from any guidebook. I took the more direct and open ended route to read whatever I could lay my hands on (meaning the actual books and essays). But I don’t see any harm in referring to a guide especially for having a practise for MCQs. Still I’ll suggest that don’t just trust the guide (I don’t believe in the bogus maxim that one guide book will be enough…more so, when guides are usually very limited in their scope. Instead, also refer to actual primary texts along with your guide, and read critics, reviews and scholars on the works rather than just guide makers.
Well the Hons degree from a prestigious institute like Jamia carries its own value in the job market. It also depends on your skills as a writer and reader, and what you make of your time at Jamia. But, my own two batchmates from Bachelors got placements at TCS last year. So yeah it’s worth your time. Moreover, I still believe study literature because you love it not because you just want a job.

Well there is no such handy book for literary theory, but you can focus on certain crucial theorists and their popular works. For example for MA read Edward Said, Fanon, Barthes, Saussure, Aijaz Ahmed, Gramsci, Eliot & Ngugi Wa Thiango.
