Excellent questions, Kristi! 1. You can't turn it on and off from the parent app. There is a "lock mode" feature where you can restrict usage during certain hours. 2. Sorry for the confusion. I was just saying that my daughter realizes how easily a screen gets scratched due to her MP3 player screen getting scratched. There is not an MP3 player on the Gabb Wireless watch. There is a MP3 player on the Gabb Wireless Z2 phone.

How is the battery on the Gabb watch? What's the average time it lasts with GPS and making a few calls during the day? I saw that it only has a 500 mah battery, pretty small... Was curious what anyone's experience with how long the battery life lasts on an average kind of day.
I found it interesting that in every video I have watched on the Gabb watch nobody covers batt life.. it seems she responded to almost every comment except about battery life.. batt Life must suck.
@@waynehubbard5615 I ended up getting the Gabb watch for one of my kids. The battery life is actually pretty decent. With GPS on, texting, calling and playing a few apps on the watch, by the end of the day, the battery has been averaging about 65 - 70% left. That's better than what my current cell phone is getting by the end of the day. We used it all day yesterday and in the evening for trick or treating, I was using the GPS a ton and made multiple phone calls and texts. By the end of the night the battery was at 50%. Avg calls were about 3-5 minutes long throughout the day and night. I do think it's odd that all the reviews I've found for the watch don't talk about battery life... but hopefully this helps others know it actually has a decent battery, will definitely last all day with regular activity (text, calls, GPS, apps built into the watch to play).

Hi Jenna, great question! Your child has a few options with texting. The watch comes with preset texts or you can create custom texts from the parent app that your child can chose from, the child can text emojis, or they can push the microphone button and dictate a text. Quick question, I currently have the tmobile kid watch for my kids, the only downfall it has, is the watch goes dark and prevents me from calling if the watch isn't actively used after a short time. When they are out playing, I have trouble getting a hold of them due to this, until they touch it to "wake" it up. Does Gabb always connect through or does it also have a power saving dark mode after a certain period?

That is correct. Hopefully in the future Gabb will pair the two. The only draw back to having both would be having 2 different #s, but if your child has both they would have all of the great features of the watch and the phone. They would definitely have NO excuses if they don't pick up! ;)
Nuu has a grandma-friendly flip phone that works on Verizon or a Verizon-compatible VMNO. My mother traded her Samsung Galaxy for my daughter's Nuu F4L. Unfortunately Gabb doesn't have service in my mom's area, but she would probably like Gabb if it expanded to her area.
So fun! Congrats to your daughter! So you would go to the pet and swipe towards the left on the pet. At the bottom it will show the action "roll over". You select the action you would like the pet to do. Hope that helps!

You can. Contact Gabb and they will help you troubleshoot.
Do you know how to make the pet do a backflip? My daughter earned the backflip, but doesn't know how to make the cat flip
