I'm liking the older generation of all cars lately.
I love everything about this. No fart cannon, no raspy sound. This is my type of set up! I’m not a huge fan of the superchargers but they are slowly growing on me.
Correction. I thought this was a supercharger but theirs a brand call kraftwerks supercharger (which is a turbocharged kit) I thought it was a supercharger but it is not.

Yall are so lucky, 2008 was the final year of that Generation TSX and yall K24 produces 5 HP more then the 04-06 model
@@dawicked2k8 I think the 06 also produces 205hp
@@dawicked2k8 It's technically way more than 5 more hp. They measured hp differently in the 06 - 08 and if you put them side by side on dyno, the 06 - 08 will have 15 to 20 more hp. Not a lot of people know about it!
Still driving my 2007 with 145. Stock auto hit would love to try and boost the HP. What would be a good first step?

Isn't there a kit that lets you keep it? I like my TSX because it's modern, losing that AC is silly
@@SoulEraser000 if there is a kit I would love to know more about it so please share if you find the link. It is something you may not care about on the race track but if its a daily driving car then it's important especially with the stock leather seats.

I think it can be built to run a welded bracket of the intake manifold. That way you can keep a/c unit.

So as a guy who actually has Brembos on his TSX (sourced from a FD2R) I can tell you that those are not Brembo calipers. They're the ADVICS 4 Piston Caliper found on the 05-08 Acura RL
The ILX headlight projector retrofit went completely unmentioned
Quick question, when porting an rbc manifold would you also recommend port matching the gasket side that mates to the head to make the manifold ports the same size as the head ports?

I have the 2013 TSX Limited with the 6 Speed. I am glad I held onto it. Going to pass it on to my son if he wants we will Turbo Charge it why not dude 400HP wow!! I bought myself the Acura TLX Type S so if we turbo this thing will be way way faster. Its only 3450 lbs!!!
man the 2nd gen gets no kits for turbo or superchargers so it’s gotta be custom. im gonna supercharge my 2010 in the coming years

What you think of the Rrc pistons on a full k20 setup?
I have the c38-81 on my k20 making 19psi and it's a absolute riot. Love the charger, been 3 years strong nothing but abuse
How much power at that boost level?
@@johnkrstyen7351 not sure on exact numbers I gotta get it back on the dyno. It made 450 at 14psi haven't had a chance to dyno it at 19. Hoping for close to 500 give or take.
@@johnkrstyen7351 there are 2 orange/yellow hatches, EG and EK running K20s with the Kraftworks SCs Making 500+ wheel.

I’ve also got a 2007 tsx. Bro is making over double stock hp which is 200. Insane. I wish I could supercharge mine but with 138k miles ain’t no way

@@VictorNUribe rebuild the motor. Do the pistons, rods, cams etc
@@VictorNUribe also make sure you go full bolts ons first so you have a trusted tuner and he can guide you more with what it’s needed for your own car
200 is at the crank. This makes 411 at the front wheels. They really make about 160ish to the wheels stock so really he's making like 2.5x stock hp
Love acura K series engines and chassis with them, just wish the transmission was as strong as the B series ones. But, there is adaptors to mount those B series transmission to the K series and any other Honda engine. Don’t remember who makes them though🤦♂️
K24s have the torque the b series never had, it would probably wear out or a break a b series trans just as quick

They're decent. Turbos are by far more efficient and make more power

I've got a 2014 TSX, I want his headlights. I've looked hard for that style and can't find anything like them...
Looks like newer TLX LED lights but on a TSX. Generally called "sequential LED" headlights, but he couldve had them custom made or retro fitted it himself.
Definitely custom...costs an arm and a leg

I’m surprised that the owner didn’t update the VTC. How much more power would he net with a 45* VTC on this setup?
Especially with the rbc, he’s missing out on power here quite a bit.

@@vando1267 IMO the manifold is fine, you might loose some power without the proper vtc gear running the rbc if i’m not wrong!
@@WelshyAutomotive oh right... sorry, had a brain fart. I thought you were referring to the intake manifold. Yeah, a pinned RBC VTC is the way to go. He might be OK with an unmodified RBC VTC with an 06+ TSX according to the k20a forums.

So..I just bought my first TSX, 2008, it’s was a church’s travel car and I know for sure it wasn’t beat on. Out side of the condition, the 5AT that came in these cars, I wanna preserve the automatic trans but I wanna know if there’s anyone that can “bulletproof” the autos for these cars. I wanna build a sleeper but still be comfortable enough for my wife to drive the kids ack and forth to school in.
You can get the auto built for longevity. Need to find a shop that specializes in that.
