I’ve found that most GOOD shows are entertaining until around the end of season 5/start of season 6 when the writers start getting a little wacky with the Storylines and arcs
@@TheMoose126heard that in some podcast, don't remember which one now. I need a Roberts Rebellion show. I want it to start out with Ned in Winterfell as a child. We meet young Lyanna & Benjen and Brandon. Then we follow Ned to the Eyrie when he wards for Jon Arryn and meets Robert. Have that be the first episode and then have it FF to when they are teens and the years before the Rebellion. Theyd be able to include the Mad Kings reign and young Rhaegar and his mother. So much lore they could make shows out of but I just reeeeally want to see this one done someday.
Ned is summoned to Robert's bedchamber where he finds Robert in his cups. A great deal of wine has been spilled on the floor and on Robert's tunic. "What is it Robert?" Ned asks. "Has someone in your family taken ill?""No!!" Robert cried, smashing his goblet on the floor. "Damned draginspawn!!" "The Mad King has slain your father and brother!!"
So you’re saying that Lyanna didn’t want to be with Robert because he wouldn’t be faithful…so she chose to run off with Rhaegar….who was ALREADY MARRIED?! 🤷♀️
It makes me think Elia knew what was going on. She knew about the prophecy, that she couldn’t have any more kids, so she gave her blessing. Especially after the tourney
@@NiKiMa023No woman in her right mind would give her 'blessing' to such a thing. Consider it was not so long ago that the Targaryens had to put down a threat from the Blackfyres. I think it will be told through bran in winds of winter or a dream of spring. At least it will be told if Rhaegar married Lyanna and I hope it will be told whats with Neds true love in dorne.
Ill give you a quick breakdown of what happened. Rhaegar, a sissy femboy went ran off with a real man's woman and got hammered into oblivion when he finally dared to face him in battle. The End.
And then clowned itself by having the prophecy extensively brought up to Rhaenyra from Viserys, and focus on it, and Rhaenyra feeling her role is to ensure the prophecy by being queen, and Alicent believing Aegon is the prince who was promised as per Viseyrs words.Except as we all know the prophecy meant nothing as Arya of all people killed the night king, no targaryen sat on the throne at the time yet the white walkers only bothered the upper north of the North, the southern kingdoms felt nothing, and Dany only ended up murdering the entire city of kings landing, before being killed by Jon who became a pathetic shadow of himself in Season 8 and and refused the throne because he did not want it over and over, being the prince who was promised but not even fulfilling his destiny and ending up just wandering beyond the wall, with nothing accomplished.
@hubertdenise3100 well the biggest, best difference is with House of the Dragon (which truly is only one chapter of Fire and blood book Dance of the Dragons sadly is all they're going to show even having permission to take it to 10 season's maybe more) is that House of the Dragons has a show runner/writer Ryan Condell whom has read Fire and Blood a thousand times plus knows all of the story of Fire and Ice books so if he did all of Fire and Blood then picked up where the idiots left off and started being extremely lazy (as they were lazily writing all through the show) we might would have a great show that would probably have to be atleast 30 season's 20 episodes a season at minimum but why make all that money with some of the most epic story telling of our time.. not to mention the visual effects brought to life! If they were tired then hand it off to someone why destroy it not to mention do most of the characters any justice especially Yuron Greyjoy I mean WTF was that lol.. oh well a sign of the times I guess..
Horrid ending to some of the best storytelling of our time atleast the books anyway.. the two idiots royally messed up what could've been one of or the most epic TV show in history as they had a decent start to the show. But isn't Bran officially a Targaryn now being he is the three eyed raven? Bloodraven? Whom was a Targaryn.. they screwed it up so bad now GRRM can't release the last book in my opinion which he only writes sad endings anyway. There are no happy endings in the books!
Rhaegar was addicted ti prophecy. But prophecies had two layers. A legendary prophecy ignored by Rhaegar. When the hammer Smashes the Dragon a new king will be born. All believed they are destined. That was not a solution.
You forgot another, Ned went north to call his banners after his dad died. Robert was defeated by Randell Tarlly & he was trapped in a town hiding from Jon Cunnington the kings hand & Rahgars best friend. Robert was saved by Ned so the mad king exiled Jon & stripped of the position of Hand. Much more was left out but these are key factors you left out. Not to mention the mad king wanted the head of the mystery knight of the Harrenhall tournament.
I've seen the GOT a few times, but watching this made me realize that Danny's brother would have married her if he didn't need Kal Drogo's army so bad 😆
I would love to see this story on screen, but true to the story and no extras unless it adds to it. Thanks for sharing! This was really educational. I tend to watch your videos when I get confused by the books
i want to see an in depth roberts rebellion television adaption so bad. i saw rumors that HOTD might make it all the way to that point *fingers crossed*
Not the seasons of HoTD that are already planned, the Dance of the Dragons is like 100 years before the rebellion, they will probably do the life of Rhaegar which will culminate with the Battle of the Trident at the end of Robert’s Rebellion
@@Cloudy_Jones i think they will make it from the perspective of the Richardt Stark, Ned’s father. Then go onto young Ned and Rowling Reed near the end. Explore the family’s lores with children of the forest. Targareayans without dragons lack lustre. But the Stark family are so intriguing as a collective and highly influential. This is put into my favourites as office play because you know the white document montior is not sexy. 😂
Robert Baratheon Grandmother is Rhaelle Targaryen a Princess of Targaryen Dynasty She married Ormund Baratheon (Grandfather of Robert and Stannis Baratheon) They have a blood of Targaryen
Lyanna was a selfish cow; she ran off with a married man (with kids!) and let hundreds of thousands of people die when she could have just sent a raven to tell her family she was eloping.
I wouldn't say only selfish more like dumb and easily manipulated This is what happens when you spoil your daughters. We get Lyanna the idiot and Sansa the naive. At least Sansa is learning and I believe she will be a great power in the end, if George ever finishes the series that is.
@@lotusstormzyep, he was selfish too. But it's not just about the affair itself, she was the one who should have let her family know the truth before a war was started in her name.
This vid does a good job of describing the reasons behind the rebellion but doesn't do a good job of describing the rebellion itself. It doesn't mention Robert leading three winning battles in a single day. Stannis' defense of Storms End. And the only mention of the battle of the Trident is how Robert defeated Reagar. Only a minute is devoted to Tywin Lannister turning on the Mad King...which was the key to fall of Kings Landing. This video leaves so much out.
Give an example within each scenario that you said he missed. So that it explains information pertinent to the story there's someone couldn't easily piece together with the information that's already given.
Live action would be awesome but to me something even better would be an adult type animation series much like the spawn series on hbo in the 90s. They could do so much more that way due to budget (battle scenes for example) I just think it would be able to be so so much more detailed and stay truer to what source material there is on this most fascinating arc!!!
Lyanna had to be one of the worst and stupid characters in GOT. We find out she wasn’t kidnapped so she chose to run away with him. Her action directly caused the deaths of her father and brother and millions of innocents. And all the deaths in GOTs are caused because of this choice
To be fair that's what the show writers wrote for the show. We don't know for sure if that actually happens in the books. The last book basically ended with Jon being stabbed by the nights watch. We don't even know if he will come back in the books because George R.R. Martin has the longest case of writers block known... he's been working on Winds of Winter since 2012! Then there is supposed to be A Dream of Spring for the last book.... 🙄 trust me the book series is amazing but not knowing what will happen drives me nuts...
So many little inaccuracies just drove me nuts. I couldn't get past 5 minutes in. I truly wonder if all the praise comments are bots. The pryomancers make Valyrian fire, and the prophecy says "born amidst salt and fire" now, I guess.
4:55 I'm so confused by this for some reason and have no clue what you mean??? Rhaegar is King Aerys 2nd of his name's heir by right of birth. Sounds like you don't even know they are father and son and baby rhaegar is trying to usurp his father(that comes later ;)) but maybe I heard it wrong
While I usually despise computer read vid3os, this one wasn't so bad. The voice was so much better than most computer read vid3os. I actually made it to the end. I usually turn videos off right away when videos are read by computers.
Always wondered what Lyanna's motivations were to dishonor her house. This gave a little more context with Robert's bastards. He couldn't have loved her that much. Rhaghar must've had mad rizz when he found her during the tourney at harrenhall. Hey baby, you knocked them suckas down! Let me tell you about this prophesy we're about to carry out 😂
@rektz2457 not only with her betrothal to Robert, but eloping and being second wife to Rhaegar. Why did it need to be a secret? Did she not have any sympathy for Elia? Pick me chick.
@NM-iy6dd for sure. He didn't even know her. I wonder if he only paid attention to her when Rhaegar gave her the crown of Winter Roses. Robert was competitive
As soon as the Targuarians stopped riding dragons, their days were numbered. If I was a Berathion, Stark, or Lannister, I would've made my move as soon as I knew they didn't have dragons anymore.
I know this might be an unpopular opinion but I think Robert and Lyanna would had gotten along fine if they knew each other better. Everyone keep pointing out Robert faults but we never gave him a benefit of the doubt. Let’s be honest Rhaegar and Lyanna has no business being together one my main problem of the tv show calling it a lie when mad king was still a threat and their so called love led to thousands men to there death all because of prophecy and love ridiculous.
Lyanna didn't love Robert though and she knew that he'd be unfaithful to her. Also, you've highlighted one of the reasons for Roberts Rebellion. Keep in mind, the whole war could have been completely avoided only if Arys handled the love quarrel between Robert, Rhaegar and Lyanna diplomatically, instead of killing Lyanna's father, older brother and the Northern lords and their sons who went to kings Landing with Brandon and Rickard and ordering the executions of Ned and Robert. Your opinion isn't unpopular though and you definitely made some great points, but these are just my opinions on the matter in response. Have a nice day, friend!
Also, I do agree with your thoughts about the TV show calling Robert's Rebellion a war "built on a lie". That was ridiculous. I think Bran Stark said that at the end of season 7 and he was completely wrong like you stated. I mean, Robert had no earthly idea that Lyanna WILLINGLY ran off with Rhaegar to get married. So the fact that he didn't know that and thought that she was abducted means that he didn't start the war on the basis of a lie but rather a misconception...and as I stated before, the war also came to fruition because of several very terrible decisions of King Aerys II Targaryen.
John Arryan had started the war when King had demanded him to bring his protegee’s for execution. This was tyranny. After Ned’s father and older brother was brutally murdered when they wanted to have legal representation as was their rights as lords. Robert lead the pact. But he was just a young lord he needed credible backing and nobility on his side and John Arrayn gave it to him. Lyanna and Bobby B was extra element to the story to give foundations that Bobby B even though he had won he still lost. Martin wrote this in the mindset that fairytales dont exist similar to allegory to greek mythology hereos can still lose and suffer consequences.
I 100% agree with you. Robert and Lyanna are both cut from the same cloth. They both love hunting, riding and fighting and they bought try to escape the feudal obligations placed upon them i.e Lyanna to marry and Robert to be a Lord She never gave him a chance, and you know what I'm not sure he deserved that chance. For someone supposed to be _so in love_ he didn't spend much time wooing her or getting to know her but instead spent his time getting drunk and laid Perhaps it is because they are so very alike that it would never have worked out between them. Weird as it is to say Robert needed a wife like Catelyn to remind him of his duties and Lyanna needed a husband like Ned to keep her on the straight and narrow. Seriously though, I don't think Rhaegar and Lyanna had a single thing in common and Rhaegar only saw Lyanna as a pawn in a cosmic war.
All this doesn’t matter because we still don’t know what happened. We don’t get raegar or lyannas side of the story. Only what other people say about them.
Read somewhere that even though Ned was killed in s1 of the show, his name was mentioned at least once in every episode after…obviously the show holds no candle to the books, I just thought that was pretty cool 🤷🏻♀️ With that said, seasons 1-4 were truly HBO’s magnum opus, in my opinion. Which made it all the more heartbreaking when D&D butchered the last 3 seasons of the show. Season 5 was by no means “bad”, but I feel like it was the beginning of the end for the show bc they began abandoning plot points on creating plot holes.
I thought I subbed to you a long time ago… I watched many of your videos and don’t regret it one bit. I made sure I hit the sub button. This was incredibly done. What an amazing video. Where did you get the pictures and the personification (if that’s the correct word) of all these famous Targaryens?!? They’re really beautiful and how I pictured them all these years

Based on the artwork. If we ever get a Robert's Rebellion series... Manu Bennett would look exactly like the artwork. Also Henry Cavill would be a great Rhaegar
About to start watching, but I feel automatically compelled to believe this is the entire objective account of what happened. You are The Three-Eyed Raven after all.
I just wanna put this out there. To me it's absolutely insane nobody made it public Rhaegar and Lyanna had a secret marriage. Had someone done so and even more had when Rhaegar came back, if he killed his father declared publicly maybe even with Lyanna that she was not kidnapped, assaulted or anything but they infact got secretly married and are now with child. Then he allowed a parley of sorts or something letting Ned talk to Lyanna she personally explained to him everything and how she did not want to be with Robert and instead Rhaegar I truly believe that would have sent a lot of the rebel forces packing back home mainly possibly the Starks seeing as Lyanna did not want the rebellion or the death of Rhaegar or Ned and seeing as she was happy and with child by Rhaegar he truly might have thought he was fighting now with no cause or purpose thus sending the Starks and their forces homeward. This also then could be used against Robert as he would be told by Ned that this is what Lyanna wants then the Baretheons (may) go home, however I think more likely they would of rather continued to fight seeing as Rhaegar stole his betrothed however this then brings the question (Ned should be asking as well as Winterfell imo) is what happens if you win do you plan to basically kidnap a woman who doesn't want to be with you and possibly assault her to consumate their marriage and have children; which would then be the doing exact thing that started the war thinking that's what Rhaegar had done. In so I would presume Starks would not be okay with this and maybe even many Baretheon soldiers leading to revolt in Baretheons own camp and war now against the Starks as well as the Targyans as they would subside their differences and fight along side one another. In final Rhaegar would become king with Lyanna as queen both living (unless Lyanna still dies in childbirth) and presumably too a war won by stopping the rebellion with Ned hopefully living through the fight and most likely the Baretheons being wiped out. Just crazy to me something like this didn't happen instead as just revealing the secret marriage and love could have changed so much.
The war was started by Lyana, but it's not the only reason. The king killed Ned's father and brother, he wouldn't be able to go home just because Lyana was fine.
No chance, in this reality Ned wouldnt have listened to what Lyanna wanted because he never had before then and only started when she was dying. It always seemed that Lyannas opinion about her bethrothal didnt matter to any of the Starks and they expected her to do as she was told. Her not doing it would have caused different problems
I just wonder if things would have turned out differently if Lyanna would’ve just left a note when she took off. It is possible that everyone would have assumed she wrote it in distress, but possibly it could have helped some the conflict.
a lot of things could have prevented this starting from rheagal and lyanna and ending with arys who was mad and even the stark father and brother who went to challange the mad king lol then there was varys and little finger and even tywin all plotting on the sidelines it's a combination of many f'ups
This content dun ripped my heart ❤️ out! Ayrs must have been Jamie and Cercys pops...and Tyrion was Tywin's! If that don't beat all and make it make sense! #Dag ...that's why The Mad King had Jamie at his side...that was his #babyboy
I always thought, how can Jaime have these beautiful children, knowing obviously that their his, and just fade into the background....hidden....because he grew up that way...hidden. 😔
It astounds me that they're seemingly not even considering the Rebellion for a prequel series... I think the vast majority of us would be ecstatic to see it portrayed on screen
All these videos I watch keep going with the whole Jon Snow is really Aegon Targaryen narrative. That was only on the TV show which has its own canon separate from the books. The 2 canons keep getting thrown together. As far as any of us knows, Jon might actually stay dead. Him being revived by Melisandre is past the ending of ADWD so TWOW may not even follow that plot at all. I would be shocked if GRRM went with that considering it would be a huge plot twist that would be a secret to no one who saw it on Game of Thrones.
There's no way Jon stays dead in the books. George wouldn't have based whether or not he let DnD make his books into a show on them correctly answering who Jon's Mom is if Jon doesn't have a big part to play in the books.
That's a pet peeve of mine too. When R+L=J was still just a fan theory, I hoped it would stay that way, as it was far too cliched and tropey for my liking. When it was confirmed on the show, I was really disappointed. I would much prefer if he just did turn out to be Ned's illegitimate son.
I've been saying this! I'm ok if he is a Taragaryen but I think it would be somewhat if a bigger twist if he is Ned's child...what gets me is Jon looks nothing like a Taragaryen.. even in book 1 Catelyn mentions during her early chapter how it bothered her how Jon had more of the Stark traits while her children with Ned with the exception of Arya had the Tully traits... I understand Lyanna was a Stark with dark hair but I mean I thought the Taragaryen traits were more dominant? Like the Baratheons have the dark blackish hair.. then u have Tyrion who actually has silver blonde hair in the books 🤷♀️ I don't think he will necessarily stay dead we still have Lady Stoneheart in the books who could potentially bring Jon back but why would she? We all know how she felt about Jon.
I usually can't hold attention for long and start 5 movies and series at the same time, i never even go up til the end of the songs i listen to BUT THESE VIDEOS I WATCH THEM FROM BEGINNING TO END WITHOUT SKIPPING A BIT
I'm sorry but as much as I enjoyed Mark Addy's portrayal of Robert Baratheon, I'll always think of him as Bill Miller on the sitcom, "Still Standing". The two are almost polar opposites which just adds to the actor's skill.
Its kind of weird on how they kept saying the Targaryens were nearly culled after the Tragedy, the correct term would be "The Male Line of Targaryens were nearly culled". People seem to forget that there are still female lines from the Baela and Rhaena (Aegon III's daughters). Aegon III also had daughters, specifically his youngest daughter, Rhaena Targaryen who had multiple children. If you trace back to Aegon "Egg" V Targaryen, he had siblings and a nephew named Maegor Targaryen, whom the council passed because of his name and young age. This begs the question, if Steffon Baratheon (father of Robert Baratheon) had a daughter, would it theoretically be Rhaegar's Wife? Considering that the theoretical sister of Robert is the nearest blood relation with them being second cousins (Aerys and Steffon were first cousins via their father and mother respectively). The reason why they probably chose Dorne was because it was their closest recent Dragon Drop of Blood (this implies that the Velaryons also didnt have a daughter compatible for Rhaegar that time).
They say a picture can paint a thousand words. The image used for the thumbnail is saying "that's the look of a man that's completely unaware of the fact that the fart he is trying to squeeze out is going to result in tragic consequences for setting the tone of the rest of his reign when he shits his pants in front of the entire court." It's pretty hard to recover after something like that no matter how many princes you've laid low.
Jammie was the true hero of Westoros especially King's Landing. It's funny how every lord of the north and others who have joined the same cause against Mad King calls Jammie a King Slayer with disgrace when they themselves didn't hold their pledge & allegiance to Targeryens as long as honor is concerned with sworn oaths. People like Ser Barriston Selmy who swore to protect Mad King changed his allegiance to (the Usurper King Robert) after he failed to protect his previous King against the same man and he had the audacity to show disgust on Jammie that he has no honor for his oath. This concept of loyalty in GOT is as absurd as you can think of. They act like they have some kind of moral superiority in front of Jammie despite knowing that Jammie did the right thing and eventually saved the Realm. Their shrewd honor is the most disgusting thing in the entire GOT.
I could not agree with you more. Very well put. Also they were riding on Kings Landing. Had they made it to the Red Keep and found Aerys alive, were they not also going to kill him? Or were they planning to sing him a lullaby? Ned Stark in particular, with his sanctimonious, one-tracked and false sense of honour and integrity, should have bent the knee to Jamie, and thank him for slaying the king; the same king who burned his father alive, killed his brother and inadvertently made him Lord of Hose Stark. He owes Jamie a lot. Ned is another story. A cautionary tale for the ages about how to get out of your own head when dealing with people, especially when the stakes are really high.
This video was released 4 months ago, but I am just watching it, what was cut on minute 34:32 when the narrator was saying that Ned learned from his father and then it seems that it was cut?

What is ridiculous is that the TV show KNEW of the prophecy and STILL didn’t put a Targaryen on the Iron Throne.
Well to be honest that family are terrible rulers there few exceptions.
D&D were complete idiots
Just look what happened to hard Hugh
Roberts rebellion needs it's own mini series.

A series would be dope. I’d be stoked with a trilogy film series too
Not the seasons of HoTD that are already planned, the Dance of the Dragons is like 100 years before the rebellion, they will probably do the life of Rhaegar which will culminate with the Battle of the Trident at the end of Robert’s Rebellion
I would love to see a series from the very beginning when the Targaryen's were still in Valeria and made their way over to westeros

Lyanna was a selfish cow; she ran off with a married man (with kids!) and let hundreds of thousands of people die when she could have just sent a raven to tell her family she was eloping.
I wouldn't say only selfish more like dumb and easily manipulated
This is what happens when you spoil your daughters. We get Lyanna the idiot and Sansa the naive.
At least Sansa is learning and I believe she will be a great power in the end, if George ever finishes the series that is.

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy them!
Rickard didn’t go to kings landing with Brendon he was summoned after Brendon went to the red keep and “come out and die
Sansa said to Jon Snow that the last Stark that was summoned to Kings Landing was roasted, so you are correct.
I really hope we get a live action adaptation of Robert’s Rebellion.

The same way rob lead himself and his mother to death because of his “stupidity”
Kind of like Rob choosing love over duty, Cersei and Jamie and their strange love, etc…. Seems to be a theme
Fu k george rr martin, as a book reader it pissez me off to know he will never finish the books...makes my soul sad
“the things we do for love” - Jamie L.
Brandon did not go with his father to Kings Landing his father was summoned after he was captured and jailed
So many little inaccuracies just drove me nuts. I couldn't get past 5 minutes in. I truly wonder if all the praise comments are bots. The pryomancers make Valyrian fire, and the prophecy says "born amidst salt and fire" now, I guess.

Always wondered what Lyanna's motivations were to dishonor her house. This gave a little more context with Robert's bastards. He couldn't have loved her that much. Rhaghar must've had mad rizz when he found her during the tourney at harrenhall. Hey baby, you knocked them suckas down! Let me tell you about this prophesy we're about to carry out 😂
Lyanna was a disgrace to her house
@rektz2457 not only with her betrothal to Robert, but eloping and being second wife to Rhaegar. Why did it need to be a secret? Did she not have any sympathy for Elia? Pick me chick.
It was always obvious by the way Robert spoke about her, that he was way more into her than she him
@NM-iy6dd for sure. He didn't even know her. I wonder if he only paid attention to her when Rhaegar gave her the crown of Winter Roses. Robert was competitive
Neds dream about the tower of Joy, after his tussle in kings landing is one of my favorite bits of foreshadowing in literature.
As soon as the Targuarians stopped riding dragons, their days were numbered. If I was a Berathion, Stark, or Lannister, I would've made my move as soon as I knew they didn't have dragons anymore.
Their was no dire reason to start a war and risk you're titles until the mad king gave all of them a reason.
So impressed. Definitely helped me tie loose ends together. Thank you.
Great to hear!
Awesome video. Its a little all over the place and a bit repetitive but overall very cool
They both love hunting, riding and fighting and they bought try to escape the feudal obligations placed upon them i.e Lyanna to marry and Robert to be a Lord
She never gave him a chance, and you know what I'm not sure he deserved that chance.
For someone supposed to be _so in love_ he didn't spend much time wooing her or getting to know her but instead spent his time getting drunk and laid
Perhaps it is because they are so very alike that it would never have worked out between them.
According to the Mad King his grandkids smelled dornish. So Tyrion would just give Young Griff a good sniff he could clear up his legitimacy.
Personally I think he’s legit. Orrrr a blackfyre. 3 dragons 3 targaryens.
Read somewhere that even though Ned was killed in s1 of the show, his name was mentioned at least once in every episode after…obviously the show holds no candle to the books, I just thought that was pretty cool 🤷🏻♀️
With that said, seasons 1-4 were truly HBO’s magnum opus, in my opinion. Which made it all the more heartbreaking when D&D butchered the last 3 seasons of the show. Season 5 was by no means “bad”, but I feel like it was the beginning of the end for the show bc they began abandoning plot points on creating plot holes.

Want to see this as a series
I wanted to like this video but the repeating the same things over and over again to add time is frustrating and the AI voice over is terrible
I just wonder if things would have turned out differently if Lyanna would’ve just left a note when she took off. It is possible that everyone would have assumed she wrote it in distress, but possibly it could have helped some the conflict.
How different if she'd survived. She'd have killed Robert herself.
Can we please get a series of this!!! It’ll be amazing ❤

Crazy how a book has history like this
It astounds me that they're seemingly not even considering the Rebellion for a prequel series...
Dawg everybody and their momma knows he is Aegon
No way Jon stays dead…

The image used for the thumbnail is saying "that's the look of a man that's completely unaware of the fact that the fart he is trying to squeeze out is going to result in tragic consequences for setting the tone of the rest of his reign when he shits his pants in front of the entire court."
It's pretty hard to recover after something like that no matter how many princes you've laid low.

Seriously how have we not gotten a stag’s rebellion: a game of thrones prequel?
I like the Little Finger theory about Brandon Stark and the rumor of Leannas abduction
The war of nine penny kings is where roberts rebellion begins
