Jimi Hendrix once said that Billy Gibbons was his favorite guitarist. He's been active since 1967. Sadly, the bassist, Dusty Hill, recently passed. I've met Billy a few times - he is one of the most down to earth, coolest dudes you'd care to meet. ZZ Top is worth a deep dive. Some of the best blues guitar without being over the top flashy, just damn good rhythms.

Lots of hits for 50 years. still playing although we lost Dusty last year (Bass) Billie and Frank are still playing with a new bassist. They never changed the 3 people in this band. In concert you get a lot of music and they are so much fun on stage. Billie is a Blues guitarist other players want to jam with.

Funny you mentioned cheeks…one of their early hits is actually called “tush”. Their earliest hit (I think), La Grange, is about a ho house these guys used to frequent in the town of La Grange, TX. The place was so infamous there was a movie about it starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. They have enough hits to keep you busy for awhile. Side note: The guy that does most of the lead vocals and also the lead guitar , Billy Gibbons, was Jimi Hedrix’s favorite guitarist.
The famous Chicken Ranch was indeed featured in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Pretty good soundtrack in the flick, too. Dolly Parton's version of 'I will always love you' is performed best in this movie IMHO

Funniest thing though is that the drummer, who does not have a beard, his last name is Beard. LOL They did a few videos like this from the Eliminator album. They are like Fairy Godmothers in the videos for young guys. The least fairy godmother like in the world but that's what I always thought of them as. They also sang the theme song from the 3rd Back To The Future movie and appeared as the band in the movie itself. They are awesome!

Tight short skirts, lots of leg and off one shoulder. The ladies in the 80's loved to dance and it was start of the work out craze, again this will get hate but no fat chicks or muffin tops. Ladies wanted to look good for themselves as well as a way to let the men know I have power. It was teasing and no touching unless they wanted to be touched..and then on their terms.
