Good to see your review. I have been buying these Tagima guitars since they became popular here about 10 years ago, The Tagima T635 models I bought were the first versions with the Fender Strat style headstock, I had a technical wood rosewood fretboard and a maple fretboard. The maple board had fret sprout but I had it sanded down by a tech. I bought a T635 for my son as well and also gave him a Tagima 61 special edition jag style offset. The only reason I was really attracted to these guitars was for the 43mm nut width. To me they played great and sounded great. Since then I don't know what happened but they changed the headstock and I am suspicious that the Chinese manufacturer might have changed also. I have bought 3 other styles of Tagima that were advertised as 43mm but they came in as 42mm or 42,5mm, which really pissed me off when I got an answer from Tagima USA in San Diego that the difference doesn't reall matter that much. It most certainly made a difference to me, that was the Grace 700, the Cosmos and the Oasis. I lost $200 on the Oasis because I could only sell it for 1/2 it's price and Tagima USA refused to take it back after a week. Oh well we'll see how much arrogance pays in the end. However that being said I still have one T635 with the old F Style headstock because I can't find a nut width at 43mm especially at that price range in an S style guitar.

Hello... Thanks for all the info. Sounds like you've had a lot of experience with this brand. Far more than me. The one I reviewed was an example of terrible quality control.

@@Bluesgtar The old T-635 with the F style headstock to me was the greatest find ever. Unfortunately it might be just history now as the nut width is a big change. I will never go back to a 42mm after owning the 43mm nut width. And it looks like the new ones are advertised as 43mm but the last dealer I wrote said it is 42.5..... I would not be surprised if they changed manufacturers in China..

I’m pretty sure you’ll like the guitar. I’m convinced the one I bought used was a bad example since a less expensive Tagima that I reviewed was quite nice. Let me know when it arrives. Take Care / Don G

@@Bluesgtar I did get it and love the sound. My frets looks pretty nice but the guitar will not stay in tune. Time for mods and we'll see how that goes. I try an do a demo once I get the parts in...

Hi and thanks for watching... There are so many choices it's a bit overwhelming. As far as all the bargain brand guitars are concerned there's only a couple that I would recommend. One would be Slick brand guitars from Guitarfetish online. The Xaviere guitars are also pretty good as well as the older Dillion guitars. If you are willing to buy a used guitar the options are endless. Lots of great deals on used Fender, Epiphone, and multiple other well known brands. 40th Anniversary Squires are under $300 used now as well. If you have access to Guitar Center online check out the used section. I check it everyday and night. The great thing is they only charge about $25 to ship in the US and you have 45 days to decide if you like the guitar. That's worth a lot considering.... Let me know if there's a particular guitar that you'd like me to review... Thanks/ Don G

Yeah I'm pretty sure this one missed the boat for quality control. I did this follow up review of a Taigima TW500 which is a less expensive model and it was a pretty nice guitar for the money. ruclips.net/video/saiqDkDTAHs/видео.html

Hello, I think it is the first revision of this guitar where negative comments have been made, although it is not a high-end guitar, the relationship between quality and price is very good. And many great guitarists think the same.

Hey I do appreciate your comments. I'm sure this one slipped by the quality control but that happens with big brand guitars as well. I did this review of the Taigima TW500 after being so disappointed with the 635. This is a less expensive model and it played and sounded great. Thanks again for watching. ruclips.net/video/saiqDkDTAHs/видео.html
