I saw the review you did on the Firefly relic guitar, and I have one of those. I liked that guitar so much that I ordered a second one, this time from Guitars Garden. After waiting three weeks I contacted customer service and was told they were sold out, even though I ordered while they were still on the website. Now it seems that after looking for a used relic FF, I may have to go with a KGD. Thanks for the video and the great review of this guitar, it is a big help. Fantastic playing, by the way.

Just ordered a Slick SL51 today. Ony $209!! Big sale! Im looking forward to trying it after watching your review and a few others including Slicks. Impatiently awaiting its arrival.
@Bluesgtar I received my Slick Sl51 Tele. I'm blown away! The nut is well cut and well fit. Everything lines up perfectly. I love the looks. Yes. Even the headstock. I think it looks great. The neck is comfortable and plays great. I'm loving these pickups. He says it's meant be like a Tele but with a little more. And wow!! He nailed it. The only thing I did was shim the neck .25°. Personal preference on the action. Now it's fast without being too low. This guitar needs no upgrades. It has inspired me and it's hard to put down. I'm coming from an Epi Lp and a V. It's the heaviest guitar ever played. I don't gig but a full show with one of these on you. It will work you out!! Has anyone done a side by side with a Squire? Because Slick crushes every Squire I played. Not just because it's so heavy. Lol. I don't have a strat style guitar yet so I'm buying the Slick version. Slick guitars are not cheap guitars. They are inexpensive, fantastic playing sound machines that I love driving all over my imagination. Thanks for the review and helping me decide to get one. Great reviews. How big are the frets? I’d like a Strat with big frets without paying thousands and Slick guitars although marketed as Medium Jumbos are actually Jumbo.

As far as upgrades go, I would wait and see how you like the guitar as it is. The beauty of this guitar is that for under $200 you get a guitar that looks good and plays well. It has a great neck which is the most important thing. The only thing I would consider( if you are not happy with the tone) would be pickups and wiring upgrade. A set of Tonerider pickups and an upgraded wiring harness would cost about $150. Let me know what you think of the guitar when it arrives.... Take Care / Don G
@ I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now I like it I do get a lot of fret buzz but should be a quick fix. If I had any complaints it would that but it only cost me 190$ with shipping after coupon for the price I love it

That’s great. A small neck adjustment and individual saddle adjustments should fix the buzzing. Depending on how you like your action set.
Will a fender pick guard fit on it?
