I really like the concept of this video because it's framed as if this is a gimmick strat when really it's common to have teams with upwards of 5 HBD users. They call this archetype Bulky Offense Hazard Stack and it's probably the best archetype in the game currently. Mons like Meowscarada and Weavile are really good with this because they provide Knock Off support so your own hazards can chip down your opponents HDB mons.

i remember when i was newer in pokemon showdown so when i didnt know what item to put on a pokemon [which was pretty much all the time] i would just give them an aguav berry

Heavy duty boots should reduce the damage of ground type attacks
That would be way too broken. It'd end up getting the item banned from OU which would completely shatter the tier.
