I'm a retired ironworker and just started carving as a winter hobby...I design and make whirligigs in the summer and do scroll sawing. But, the cold, long Northern New York winters drag too long for me. My little shop has to close for the winters so this I can do in a spare room. Merry Christmas Van to you and your family. Thank you for the horse pattern, that will make a nice Christmas ornament. Lots of options for painting. Van do you sell that thickness of wood for this type of carving? That #3-1/4” tool looks pretty handy for relief carving. Thank you for sharing.
