Let’s not be ridiculous, Jayden is the guy. What about the Veteran quarterback at Ohio State that tossed 2 receptions, that cost Ohio State a lot of money. Should not Ohio State demand a refund on their money, after losing to Michigan.
I mean, is it really working under Riley? Its kinda early but I didn't really think about it until they said hes in year 3. Marcus freeman is in year 3 and he wss a rookie head coach. They are headed to the playoffs
Riley sounds “soft” when he praises his team, players coaches and all, when they lose so BADLY. Get tough with your team and learn how to win games at the end and stop cuddling your team in a loss. Covey to them losing is unacceptable and change these outcomes going forward.
Realistically looking back at 2023 and 2024 I can say I saw improvements as a whole which makes me hopeful. Look back at 2023's wins and that team very easily could've been 5-7 or even 4-8 if Colorado completes the comeback.
In these press conferences Riley needs to state the obvious: the team did not play well enough to win, and he needs to do a better job along with the other coaches & players, for making it happen. He needs to STOP saying how hard they played and acknowledge they must improve!
The biggest lesson LR could learn from this season is that he reverted to throwing WAY too soon! He’ll try ONE running play, and if it doesn’t work, he must think “well, I tried (once?), now we go back to throwing”. I deeply miss the days when John McKay (and to some extent, Pete) would say “we’re running it down your throat until you can prove you can stop us” “STOP” means more than once or twice! This game was lost by play calling down the stretch…NOTHING on Jayden or ANY other player!!! FIGHT ON!!!✌️✌️✌️
The nock on Maivia at Arizona was that he throws a lot of interceptions. SC can Not win with with him at QB. SC needs a new Offense coach who can call the plays.
Notre Dame’s stats were inflated by the fact they played a weak schedule. At the start of the season it looked like SC was the only traditionally strong team on their schedule, then they turned out to be the definition of mediocrity. It will be a real test of Riley’s coaching ability if they can dramatically improve, when they don’t look like a team that can attract top tier talent.
They slowed down on the running when they were down. Also, Jayden and the WRs were EATING those ND CBs when they started passing at the end of the game. Literally marched down the field passing mixed with some runs. The talent/experience on defense was lacking all year. They were awful on 4th down. However, those guys had FIGHT. Haven't seen this much fight in years. An year extra of experience and talent development will do wonders for these Sophomores and Freshmen. The team didn't have a single returner from last year, outside of Jonah, who was an elite upperclassmen. Zach Branch's performance was underwhelming this year. Not sure what's gone on, but he lost a step. I feel like last year he would've taken that pick play that had him wide open running down the field to the house. Both the staff and players need to clean things up. The effort is there. They're just not sharp enough to be elite. That's why they're 6-6. ✌
I'd love to hear Abrahams excuse this time for Lincoln Riley. Dude stays gargling Lincoln. Riley's regular season record is 10-2, 7-5, 6-6 and Abraham still defends that. 🙄
We will send you a postcard from the playoffs. To any USC fans reading this the playoffs is where the best 12 teams compete in a bracket to decide a national championship 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
HIRE JACK FULL TIME!!!! RYAN NEEDS TO DROP THE BAG!!!!!

Always good hearing your commentary and insights - have a nice break until spring practice

Great show guys, good content!
Honestly I’ll take Maiva’s pick sixes all day long. He’s still light years better than MM. Fight on
Does not matter what QB plays. As long as Riley has a pass first mentality and not emphasizing run, offense will continue to struggle.
Exactly. Every team that has Won a National Championship runs the ball heavy.

Who cares what bowl they play in! Embarrassing!
Maybe ND does not gain so many yards via the run if Lynn had loaded the box more often. Geez! 🙄
Be a TOUGH leader Coach Riley. You come across as being soft and given the teams declining record year after year--that’s not good. Get TOUGH.

Jacoby should have been used more, that on LR watch. After 3 years 6-6 . Unexceptible.
What?! No more Jack??? NO!!!!!!!!!
Winning is a great recruiter. Also the air raid will not work in the big 10. This is not looking good
The 2025 schedule does not look too bad. Losses to nd, whoregone, and either Iowa or Michigan.
I am done as hell with losing to ND - just unacceptable

Only one of those 12 teams is the best. It won’t be you!✌️
Another 5 Star Lost???
