The biggest change that I see from the last two games, is the desire to go after the WIN! Not play to keep from losing! They really came to win! Fight on!
Jack’s right we should be 21-3 by halftime, Woody & Makai were the offensive stars, defense stopped giving chunk yds in 2nd half and special team was special a nice change. Luke the QB coach needs to prep up Maiava for ND, he looked indecisive and didn’t see some wide open WRs down the field.
Riley doesn’t cater his offense to anyone, that’s the problem, he does his plays and doesn’t care if the QB doesn’t fit. Dude is not some offensive guru and is living on past accomplishments, the game is evolving and his reputation of being a trendsetter has officially been put to bed 🛌
The first drive of the second half was the worst drive of the season. Knowing they had the opportunity to start the second half with a score on a short field, really start to pull away from a weak Fucla team and the Trojans get nothing...I don't know what this team is trying to achieve most of the time on offense.
I do tend to agree that overall it doesn't look too different with maiva vs moss. however, no way miller makes the play to scramble and find lane for the TD. other than that, RUN THE BALL NEAR THE GOALINE. hell, give the ball to joyner near the goaline, he seems to run someone over on more than half of his runs
It all gets back to Lincoln Riley‘s lousy playcalling. It’s the one consistent problem that has been there game end game out yesterday. We had good pass protection great field position and a clean game overrated.Signal caller we r gonna get our butts handed to us next week I look forward to hearing Riley’s excuses post game -Covid anyone?
Maiva also had two tds stolen when wr 6:07 clearly held . Our makes four fgs within 24 yard line bfd.they couldn’t find red zone because Riley an idiot. Has he EVER run the ball three times in a row?why have maiva in there if he isn’t/isn’t asked to run??
Once again Riley continues to be predictable with his pathetic playcalling especially in the red zone! Rileys playcalling IS NOT aggressive enough and doesn't scare anybody! No creativity in the red zone, and loves settling for field goals! That won't cut it against better teams! What an embarrassment! This is ALL on RILEY with his piss poor coaching philosophy! Always playing down to lesser teams when we should be blowing teams out! Always hoping the clock is in your favor, OR relying on a gassed out defense to save the day OR a shaky placekicker thats not trustworthy to win you a game! If Riley would put his foot on the gas and PLAYS TO WIN, then you wouldn't have to rely on anything else! This is the Big Ten now! Riley better open the playbook and not hold back on anything this weekend. You have nothing to loose at this point! Run different formations, 3 tight ends, a bunch receiver set, better screen plays, flee flickers, maybe a fake punt(depending on field position) Anything, showing you have some aggression in your playbook. If Riley continues this stale ass playcalling, a loss is guaranteed this weekend. WAKE UP AND FIGURE IT OUT RILEY!! ✌️

The Biggest problem with USC is Lincoln Riley. His play calling and his Air Raid Offense are both TRASH 🗑️. USC should be built on RUNNING THE FOOTBALL & TOUGH DEFENSE. This throwing the ball 50+ times crap makes the Offense toilet paper SOFT. Fire that clown before its too late. 🙄
