Thanks for your comment. "Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Heb. 4:12 It's not a joke.
Thank you so very much for posting this DIY Ninja repair. I have had mine for over 10 years and it stopped working. I use it daily and figured it probably finally burned out. I looked on line to order a new one only to find out that this model is no longer made, thus not possible to replace or get repair parts. As a last ditch effort I checked RUclips for help and ran across your post. You did a great job explaining everything with good visuals. I did everything you said and managed to salvage this old friend for a bit longer. The contacts on the switch were not as worn down, only one of them was slightly bent away from it's correct position. A tiny screw driver came in handy to nudge it back in place. I have zero experience, knowledge or understanding of electronics so I really appreciate your your tutorial helping me get back to making my daily protein smoothie bowls. BTW, I did get confused by your intro at first, thinking I had accidentally clicked on the wrong link for your tutorial, however did not get upset or offended in any. I don't understand why people find it necessary to complain about such a thing when receiving free help from someone who has taken the time and effort to do make a helpful tutorial. Again, thank you.
Mine looks the same and I'm having the same issue but the fasteners are not phillips' head. I can't figure out what they are and I'm pretty tool literate. Have they started riveting them on? Thanks!
That button might be the sensor that tells it when the motor is sitting down on the lid for the mixing container. That allows the motor to turn on when it is pushed in.
It's true what you said when you read from the Bible. It's so refreshing and great that someone else believes in Jesus and God. Hello my brother in Christ
Is so rude to make us hear something some people don’t believe in before get to what we’re interested in listening to, dude the Bible is not going to help you repair that machine, c’mon
Thanks for your comment. From my perspective, repairing the machine is a temporary and ultimately meaningless concern. Salvation of souls is the only thing that matters in the end.
Thanks for your comment. I consider it advertising, if you don't like it you are welcome to ignore it. Jesus can take away fear and helplessness from those who will accept his offer of salvation.
DIY with Dave Why not just start a religious channel instead of intentionally misleading your audience? If the video title was “A Religious Passage Followed by Troubleshooting,” then I wouldn’t have this reaction. It is unfair to blame your audience for having a response to something they did not opt in to.
@@rootvalue that is a fair point. You can't please everyone. I see a fair number of things on RUclips that I don't "opt in to." I just move on, but you have the right to express your opinion, thanks for taking the time to do so.
@@rootvalueyou didn’t “opt-in” to anything, you chose to watch the video , it’s called free will, if you don’t like the content, then again exercise free will and just move on, it’s not that difficult. God bless!
Is this a joke? I came here to fix my blender, not to feel like I walked in on church service.

@@diywithdave3186 It *is* a joke. I don't really care if you prefer living in the stone age, but such bullshit isn't appreciated.

I only have the unit in the video, I don't have any knowledge of what changes they made on later models. Sorry.
why so many dislikes? could be because of clickbait in to religion?
Could be. If the scripture helps one person to draw near to God, it far outweighs the dislikes.
Very informative video, thanks for posting.
Thanks for the feedback.
my problem is it's stays on always I have to unplit
Perhaps the switch is stuck in the on position.
@@diywithdave3186 I can move the switch though
Thanks man, blender's fixed. Good verse too.
There’s a weird white thing in it and it’s like a button and I don’t know what to do

Ninja blenders are garbage
Thanks for the comment.
They sure are! I will never buy another one!
What’s with the proselytization??? It’s a repair topic. Why impregnate it with the fear and helplessness of religion?
