This song was used at a cousin's funeral this past weekend. Has been a family favorite for decades. What a moving presentation of this old favorite
How can anyone deny there's a God when you have a family of 6 that all can sing as well as play instruments and love each other so much and whose harmony is absolutely flawless. There are no coincidences nor was this by chance. This took a designer who absolutely loves us in a way that I cannot understand and appreciate enough. Thank you Almighty God for this beautiful family.
What a lovely song played so sweetly. How blessed we are to have the Collingsworth family. Their music ministers and lifts us up in worship and praise. I have a daughter with amazing talent who plays liano so beautifully. Never having a lesson just sat down one day and played. Her miracle was never appreciated by anyone but me!

I used to play the organ for our church and memorial services at the Funeral Home. This sweet old hymn was requested over and over. "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" is so comforting. Everytime I listen to this hymn and these two amazing talents...a new thought arises....from the words.
They are so important,
the music is beautiful, harmonies are indescribable, talent is difficult to measure....just like the friendship we have in Jesus...but there are no words..."what a friend we have in Jesus?" who can know? Only the sinner saved by grace.
The words convey that boundless love unmeasurable grace indescribable love. The unaccountable peace that he brings. The music is the transport but the words carry the truth.
I've had a rough day at work. Sitting and listening to these girls play that song is a good way to unwind. Not to mention the fact that if I take to heart the message of that song, it'll help me unwind even more, and I'll sleep good tonight.

I love the entire Collinsworth Family. Love their music. The Mother is dynamic on the Baby Grand Piano. Saw them in concert in Concert last April in Columbia, SC. Want to see them again.
