Have you ever thought about doing sweet peas? It's early Spring! They seem so appropriate for now, and it seems like they'd really lend themselves to your vintage style!
Thank you so much for sharing! I've never considered myself an artist or even someone who could draw but following your step by step quickie sketches (and other artsy things) has definitely given me confidence. I enjoy watching your tutorials and like to binge watch your videos as I try to improve my own skills.
YES! That's the mindset...ya gotta start SOMEWHERE if you want to do it! I was very I'll and in the hospital. When I was on the mend, I asked my son to bring paper and a pen. To my shock, I couldn't draw anymore😳 I had to retrain myself. Every time I let my drawing lapse, I experience at least a little loss of skill...so yep! You have to start somewhere!
I've done the mushrooms, the herbs and now the peonies. The way you simlify everything just clicks with me. I'm fealing really good. The better my drawings the better my water colors come out. So glad I finally found you. Thankyou!
Hello! I’ve been inspired by your art for awhile now and enjoy your tutorials! Thank you for your real-time lessons! I’ve been drawing and painting for years, but you’ve helped me be more mindful of practicing. Being better at sketching helps all of my artwork. Also, I have an 11 year old visit me on Fridays, and many times we’ll put on your videos and learn how to draw something new!!
Greetings and gratitude from Dublin Ireland. Am hugely enjoying you generous and helpful tuition and even occasionally liking what I draw. Sometime you might do an iris which I find very difficult. Thank you.
Oh cheers from Canada. So love hearing where people are watching from. Thank you. I would be happy to do an iris. 😊 I find them challenging as well. We will figure is out. Lol
Am still trying all your videos but do seem to struggle with the flowers, they look better than what I would draw unaided but never end up as natural looking as yours. The shading on mine never seems to go well (except the poppy one which works well). I think I will stick to mushrooms and herb watercolours for now. Thanks for the tutorial anyway - I will continue practising!
No need to rush,I can sit for hours watching & drawing with you!Great job, thank you
You make it so easy to follow, and you get straight into it. Thank you 😊

I also want to know I appreciate your channel. It was new to me and I have been binging. Thank you❤
Michelle, the peony is one of the most difficult flower to draw, but not for you! It’s absolutely beautiful! ❤Thank you. Helene

Lovely,I’ll checkout the ones I have in the mountains. They don’t grow in the desert.
This video helped me sooo much! Thank you! ❤
I enjoyed watching that. I need to bring my sketch book or my dyed papers upstairs by my computer to try some of these out.

On the pencil drawings you use in your journals, do you some sort of setting spray over them so they don't fade or smear?
She uses hairspray 😊
