I can hardly wait!! Like you I love shooting my bows! I have been primarily a rifle hunter but am intent on transitioning to mostly hunting with my longbows. Especially, thank you for sharing your love for the Lord and your desire to introduce him to others!! God bless!
IMHO. The two reasons for your drop in success are your implementations of video recording your hunts and your decision to hunt strictly from the ground. It has certainly been my experience. Regardless, I doubt anyone questions your ability or skill of hunting. I certainly do not. Kill or no kill, my sons and I enjoy watching. Looking for the coming season. Best wishes.

After 35 years of hunting with a compound bow I switched last season to a longbow. My only regret is not switching sooner! Love your channel and have learned so much from you and others. Looking forward to the series! And I agree, may we all keep God first in our lives 😊
Amen Robert on everything. Yes, you get jerks on the forums that twist things that you say and make comments that you were not intending to be part of. It is like they think that they are the total expert and what you are sharing is nothing but mud because they sure do try to drag you thru it. A firefighter from way up north once told me that the brambles were pretty rough down here, he meant the saw briars, blackberries and various vines with the thick underbrush. He was right. People do what works for them, when they are very successful at it, only a fool ignores how they do it. Anybody can kill a stupid deer, they tend to die quickly but the smarter ones are a bit tougher to take. Learning what deer eat and what they prefer in your area is a big step in the right direction. The South has its share of critters and foliage that wants to draw blood or bite you, some pretty badly along with the heat and humidity. Many think that the longbow can't be used very well in all of this but they fail to see and understand the versatility of it. And yes, there are people that try to argue with success and lots of hard earned experience. When you know what you know that you know, you let them keep on losing while you keep on keeping on. A deep rut is from doing the same stupid things over and over until you can't get out of it unless someone helps you and you are smart enough to realize it. Can't wait to see them Robert, and that is a very beautiful bow

I don't bow hunt any,more due to,shoulder problems ,,but I love watching how other people with injury or just the fact to maybe make it easier to,hunt with bows better ,,,I gun hunt now only ,,,,with a big recoil pad lol.....but just being out in God nature watching the animals is pleasure enough for me ,,,,plus I public trap alot

Anyway, I am about to commit completely to Hill style longbows, and I have a bunch of recurves, but for me the longbow is finally coming into it's own for me, except, I have also been shooting and finally made my first selfbow out of Hickory, and I have to say, selfbows are addictive. But currently I guess my favorite bow of all time is my Howard Hill Tembo, 54# longbow.
