Could Jupiter Become a Star?

- If Jupiter suddenly decided to keep growing, it would eventually become a star, for example, a red dwarf. And its composition would allow this planet to do it. Red dwarf Jupiter could prevent the inner planets from following their orbits - because they wouldn't be able to find a balance between the gravitational forces of the two stars. The planets would move either closer to the Sun or closer to the newly formed red dwarf. What would it mean to our Earth?

Respect to the camera man who sacrificed himself to help Jupiter become a star

XD yeah lol
Or the monoliths in 2010
Yes, i think planet will become a star. Btw Jupiter IS huge amazing planet with its moons and I Believe there IS Life Jupiter's moon Europa. 🌌
I don't think jupiter can but I definitely think saturn has the potential to be
Jupiter was supposed to be a star it's just not in the right zone. I think Jupiter will help our Sun revert instead of the Sun exploding. Space is insane
If
Jupiter and Saturn 🪐🪐🪐 collides with each other then Jupiter could become a 🟤🤎 brown dwarf
Jupiter was once a d3ad dwarf star that ate other planets that's why it is so big.
We need to find and mess with a monolith first....
0:29 palnet??
i KNOW
To Ganymede and Titan, yes sir, I've been around...
The more realistic type is becoming a brown dwarf with the mass of 14 Jupiters even though it would need to eat Neptune Saturn and all the other gas giants and still needs to capture a bunch of rouge planets
This is the video i needed. Was kinda wodering what would happen if Jupiter became a brown/red dwarf.
watching from Grenada in the Caribbean sea
Very cool information.
To turn jupiter into a star you must need a thousand jupiters collide
Before i watch it, short answer is no, unless someone pushes another 80 or so planets of the same mass into it
Hard to really say how many Jupiters it would take. Scientists say 80 more for a red dwarf and 1000 for a sun like our own but scientists could be way off
Happy bday hope u enjoy
0:29 "Palnet"
You guys spelled planet wrong. You guys instead said Palnet
More possible if venus becomes 709× bigger than Jupiter, right.
So, to sum things up: Careful what you wish for...
Hi😊 I LIKE THAT YOUR VIDEO ARE ABOUT THE SOLAR SYSTEM 😁
Um sorry what?
Like the movie “2010: The Year we make Contact”
Thank you ❤
If Jupiter would ignite it would fry this planet.
Shhhhhh ffks 🙄😒😒😒Marvin the Martian might be listening 😎
this was posted 1 minute before i watched it
Totally imaginary or is it
Wow that's so awesome😮😮😮😮

Jupiter absolutely can become a red dwarf
Hi
Hiii
Spelling mistake largest planet
No, although it was previously thought that the solar system was supposed to be a binary star system. But as the other gas giants were formed it took mass away from jupiters area.
Here’s the actual story.
In the early state of the solar system, there were two gas clouds, one gas cloud was bigger, one was smaller, The smaller one formed first, which was known as Jupiter. The reason why Jupiter formed before the sun, was because it didn’t ignite, nor make nuclear fusion, meaning the process would be quicker, Jupiter originally was supposed to be a star. But the sun stole some of Jupiter’s mass when forming, so your right, the solar system WAS supposed to be a binary system.
Can a collision changed it?
@@BlockyGT Yes. Jupiter was supposed to be either a super massive brown dwarf or a small red dwarf about the same size as it is now.
Pin this if bright side is cool
Amazing
2nd SUN!!!!!!
PALNET 💀💀💀💀💀💀
We should’ve kept Jupiter a planet
Will jupiter come from rise from the west as opposite to the sun? What if sun died and some of it's gasses being absorbed by jupiter??
That's the sun of Mary pbut on his way
You completely forget about Jupiter's planets 😂
Or "moons"
Jupiter: gas giant planet or failed star?
oh no this gaves me nightmare
Palnet?
2.7 😊
Jupiter mazha 🎶
But truth is Jupiter is a failed star
Jupiter is a failed star.
Jupiter may slowly be going nuclear
