Beverley Knight: Vocal Range, Power, & Agility

Wanted to pay tribute to one of the best female voices on the planet - Beverley Knight. Such an underrated songbird. Her vocal agility and precision are definitely her bread and butter but overall she has such a developed instrument from top to bottom.

thank you for this. I tweeted Bev and asked where she was in the vocal register and she replied... "Mezzo but I can get waaaay low..." I love that. I'm a massive mezzo fan but always thought she was a Soprano but guess not. It's not always about how high one can sing but the tone in which one can do it and Beverley, (like Donna Summer) has a unique sound.
