Mongolian sounded really beautiful. When she first started I thought it sounded Russian (which makes sense), then there was something western European about certain consonants, then when she spoke in the long sentence it sounded more Asian. Such a cool language!

@Esteban A Source for "millions"? If you mean people who speak their native languages, that's different. But Native American languages are very uncommon. They've been replaced by and large with English or Spanish.

One of the things that saddens me the most is that from my tribe the only person who still speaks our language is my grandmother who has alzheimer and I couldn't learn the language because in most Latin American countries they preferred to be seen as white Spaniard than Native/indigenous... that's bs. Well, I'm Russian. His pronunciation isn't perfect, of course, but considering that Russian has a hard pronunciation, I'm impressed, especially by his vocabulary lol

Can I ask you how good or bad his Russian was? I work around a lot of Russian immigrants and I did not guess he was speaking Russian. The people I work with do curse but only when something goes wrong or they are exaggerating what they are saying
