Screen writers will get the short end of the stick. One... they get the information last if they aren't directly involved or director makes changes. Credit will always go to the author by fans... most decend and good adaptation doesn't have the script writer get praised by fans. However, let said adaptation fails.... the fans will attack the writer for not following the source material. Being the script writers is a thankless job. The authors and script writers should have direct contact to each other... but often times that don't happen.
I'm glad that the director kept quiet during the argument between the author and playwriter and didn't let the actors discuss it with each other. If they had discussed it, the whole scene would have gotten even more chaotic. He must have known about those situations before.
If you guys are looking for an underrated anime for this season watch elusive samurai, imo it should win best animation I genuinely have no clue how this anime went under the radar for most people
I'm actually curious about the direction of S2 so far. Them making introductions was supposed to be in ep 1, but they put it in this one now. They're actually mixing chapters at this point, taking pages from one chapter and combining with 2 or 3 more😅
You can definitely tell that Akasaka-sensei is using his experience with his manga-anime serializations on this arc Especially since Kaguya-sama had a lot of changes from the manga to anime and then live action
Funny how thw two mangakas calling each other sensei... the older one calling her kohei sensei because her Kohei is higher in the business than her. And the younger one calling her sensei because she's older.
Akibo's message was to make a scene more impactful, and the message GOA received was to make characters' emotions more evocative😆

what's the problem with that ? following the manga in everything doesn't make it a perfect adaption, it has to stand on its own
It's an adaptation the direction will always be different just like what's happening in the show😅lol
