Hardly anyone reacts to INXS so thank you. As an Australian I really love this band and Kick is an amazing album.
Michael's voice was rich and sensual and soulful, like him. He had it ALL, voice, charisma, looks, moves, style. He was BORN to do this and only this!!!!
I'm so loving your INXS reactions and I truly appreciate you giving these guys some much deserved love. Michael had an extremely soulful voice. That man could sing like nobody's business. To appreciate their energy I still think you gotta check them out live. Trust me man, Suicide Blonde and/or What You Need live at Wembley stadium will blow your mind. Another great one to check out is called Mystify. The version that comes from the documentary is really cool because it shows them working on and recording the song, but incorporates images from a live performance.
I love how much you enjoyed this and how music brings us together. INXS were amazing.
Wembley 1991 if you want to see energy. Also, INXS had knocked Michael Jackson off the #1 spot on the charts back in the day.

Tear it up, man, tear it up. This is my favorite INXS song, which comes from my favorite INXS album, Kick. I've seen these guys in concert three times and they bring it every time. I gave a young friend their greatest hits CD because she's looking to expand her music horizons. I just love peoples' reaction to them because, yeah they're that good. Hell, my mom even loves them!
From the Kick album in 1987, there were also some great numbers from the Listen Like Thieves album in 1985. The Swing album in 1984 was what got me into INXS, though, I was a 13 year old kid in year 7 at the time. Original Sin was the first INXS song I remember hearing that year, from The Swing

That's a pretty big disservice to INXS, they were envelope pushing at the time, always searching for the next sound, not content to just be part of the pack.
