His Business

  • Let us examine again how much we really have true belief. Belief or faith has content ; there is a business in it. We cannot say to someone we do not know and have no business with, “I believe in you.” We also will not understand if someone says to us, “I believe in you,” while we do not know that person and have no business with that person. If we say, “I believe in God,” then there must be a business. The question now is, what business is it that we say, “I believe in You, Lord?” How poor and shallow are those who say they believe in God only because He is the One God and believe in the existence of the One God.
If in the life of a Christian, believing in Jesus as Savior and becoming Lord in life is only in the form of belief in the mind, it is truly shallow and poor. For new Christians, it is still understandable and tolerable. Just like a child who is still 3-4 years old says, "I love mommy." In reality, every day he is fussy and bothers his parents. But the parents do not feel disturbed, because they love their child. But if the child is 40 years old and says, "I love mommy," but hurts the parents' feelings by taking things, stealing things at home, doing things that make them unhappy, that do not please their parents; that is an insult.
Likewise we are to God. If we believe in the living God, even though we cannot be seen by the physical eye, then we must strive and try to do the will of the Father; that's his business. Many Christians are only directed to ask for help, to bring their problems to be worked on and resolved by God. It's not wrong, we ask God for help. But we must understand the content of our dealings with Allah. When we are still immature, we ask Allah to take care of our affairs. But after we grow up, it is God's business that we take care of. That is, what God wants us to do, what God wants us to do, because we were created only for Him.
Don't do anything that God doesn't approve of. We must be responsible for every word we say. Including what we fill in our gadgets and social media, be careful. We should not write anything if it will not be a blessing. There are many people who feel they are defending God, wanting to be a blessing to others, but in fact they write because they are driven by hatred, anger, jealousy, frustration in life, a broken household, or a broken economy. People who are truly possessed by dark powers, but do not feel possessed by dark powers, because what they express is about God. Dark powers are so clever at shackling people.
Don't do anything that hurts God. Even in everyday life, if we joke, we must be careful because it can hurt others. Even if we have to be angry with someone because they made a mistake, for the good of that person, our anger must be constructive; don't let it drag on with inappropriate words, just because we have power over that person. Remember, one of the characteristics of God's children is to be compassionate towards others . Our business with God is to please Him. Live only to please Him.
The only big problem, and this is our only problem, is Him. Not ourselves, not our problem, but Him. That is how we can please Him, not committing any sin, no matter how small, no matter how subtle. If in the past we did not care whether what we did pleased God or hurt Him, now we only care about that. It is not a matter of physical poverty, or a matter of physical dangers because that is not the main thing. The main thing is to do the will of the Father. Our business is with the Lord Jesus, because He is the only Savior. There is no salvation outside the Lord Jesus.
Now how do we suffer for God, namely working so that many people know the Lord Jesus and are truly changed to be like Jesus or perfect like the Father. Not only making people become Christians, but also wanting to do the will of the Father. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). We call Jesus, Lord, meaning we must be like Jesus, obey the Father, and suffer together with God. That is His business.
