Welcome to sweden! We also moved to Sweden recently. We are renovating our entire house right now 😄
That sounds great! Good luck with that! Unfortunately we just had to leave just recently.. but if we could have stayed longer, we would have.. :)
I am very interested in watching your Sweden life! Upload often!
I´ll try my best :)
This should be interesting to watch.
You are so welcome 😊
I'm a sophomore in college currently studying engineering and my girlfriend and I are very interested in Sweden. I'm interested to see how you both like the transition as we are seriously considering it after i graduate!
(Edit: we are from America)
Hej! That sounds great! I hope you get some insight out of this! :) Just make sure you have your visa situation figured out if none of you two are EU citizens. But I think if you would potentially like to continue school here, that could help with a smoother transition.. (and it´s MUCH cheaper) :) That might be easier than getting a job here. But I am no expert in that, haha. Aside from that - if you prefer city or country life there´s great options here in Sweden. We just prefer the country life. :)
3.25 no sleep til midnight.
Electricity is quite expensive in Sweden.
I suppose you know by now that stick shift isn't that difficult!
Haha, yes I do. :)
What's the "sweden book" you were talking about? :)
Now imagine if you were to buy a house, quite a few people have done that route instead and it seems to a whole other level of bureaucracy :D
Oh, haha, I meant the "Sweden Bug" :) I was like "what book did I talk about?"
And yes, I believe that that would be a tough one, too. But there´s more info on that out there than for buying a car, I think. Cause most Europeans just bring their own cars here. :)
HAHA! Makes more sense now :D
I see, haven't thought about that but you are right! There are a few channels here on youtube renovating a cabin and living here so it's not impossible :).

Yeah…having the car registered on a “friend” is illegal as hell and will get you into serous trouble if your in an accident (no insurance, no taxes paid; the whole burden is put on you, even if the other person is at fault).
Enligt mig så finns det inget bättre land än Sverige.
Jag är uppvuxen i norra Sverige. Och jag förstår inte varför man vill lämna detta???. Ens bara för några veckor.
Haha, yes, I understand your point! It is so lovely here!
So am I, now living in the UK. That just means I appreciate it so much more whenever I come back to visit.
Swedes trying to survive the economic winter....
Meanwhile...."I think I'll move to Sweden."
😂
You think this "economic winter" is specifically Swedish?
