Barry is my favorite show of oat and Barry Berkman is my favorite character of all time Great Video. In my personal opinion think he is a really smart like can outsmart walter white.
Imo Barry is really intelligent and probably a lot more intelligent then the avarege person. But bc of his lack of eq and his mental struggles he can alot of the time come over as a absolute moron😂
I would also suspect that Barry may be quite intelligent, or at least, more intelligent than he often appears, but has never truly engaged his intellect to its full potential. If, as a child, he never has a parent or teacher that sparked his curiosity and encouraged him to dive into a subject matter. If he never went to university which foster and assess critical thinking, analysis, synthesis, rhetoric etc. I don’t think he’s ever fully engaged his brain. I’m sure his time as a marine was the time it was most engaged: training is tough and involves a wide range of skills, and in war, the stakes are so high you need to remain with it. This might be part of why he looks back at his time as a Marine with such fondness- he felt smart and capable (plus, the camaraderie, obviously), and he hasn’t felt smart or capable since his discharge.
@@ginao6810 I mean what i always got from Barry is that his mind and brain is made for what he does best. Which is killing and tactically getting himself out of live or death situations. But when it comes to anything else he is somewhat below average. Barry a extremely gifted assassin, but at most other things he sucks.
@@boerekool635 I actually think we’re kind of saying the same thing. I agree that killing and staying alive is what Barry’s mind does best - because that’s all it’s been trained and used for. That’s the crux of all Marine training, the underlining goal of war, and the objective of being a hired assassin. It’s all he’s done for 20 years, no wonder he is good at it. Yes, those skills probably align with his natural abilities and aptitude, but I do believe he could have had a different career that harnessed the same innate skills. I don’t think Barry was a born killer - I think he was a built into a killer (nature v nurture). I think that’s part of why he latched onto acting class - it was the first time in 20 years he exercised a different set of skills. I think it’s part of why
It's a full blown personality and character analysis. Trying to do something unique that no one else has done. What would you have filled the time with?
Barry is my favourite tv show, thank you bro
My favorite character yes and great video
This was a surprisingly sincere show that managed to toe the line between humour and drama really well.
one small example of his physical ability is when going to see Fuchs as he's out on the balcony trying to get down and Barry just climbs up
Damn this is brilliant ❤

You lost me when you started talking about IQ and EQ. What next? Are you going to judge his character based on the shape of his skull?
