The audience gets points in almost every episode...whether it was because they participated in some way or because they had to witness such a bad/embarrassing/raunchy bit before. Awarding the audience points isn't unusual. At the end of the day, the points don't matter!
I cannot possibly imagine why there are children eating and drinking on rollercoasters other than to demonstrate how such an attempt is futile. The sad thing is that I want to try it now.

@ 1:35-1:39, that was epic when Colin strted running ahead of the roller coaster, and then jumped when the coaster took the dip before going back up again. Lol.
The roller coasters, in order of appearance, are: 1. Viper at Six Flags Great America 2. (Irn-Bru) Revolution at Blackpool Pleasure Beach 3. Raptor at Cedar Point
1st one is cedar point i been there since I was a kid and I know that wooden roller coaster anywhere. its so small in some places if you are too tall and put your hands up you will smack them on the wood. i would second that with the water to the left of the coaster at one point which cedar point is located on the island on that same side it would be. if I am wrong please correct me.
@@joshuamcallister7005 that first one isn't from Cedar Point, the third one is. The only wooden ones that go into the structure at all at Cedar Point is Gemini and Steel Vengenace and if you look right as the buzzer hits you can see the name Viper on the roller coaster.
@@NemmyBlade well thats wrong. they have had tons of wooden rollercoasters. the mean streak as well. you seem a bit young to remember that part. i would not trust your information. thank you for trying though.
@@joshuamcallister7005 yes. Cedar point did have wooden roller coasters but if your going to ignore the fact that in the video after Colin put his arms down that the coaster had the name Viper, a wooden roller coaster Cedar Point never had, then I shouldn't be the one to trust your information. But yeah, ignore the evidence.
This was one of the better ones. Sure, it was easy, but the audience was appropriate. Ryan Styles has said that this became his least favorite bit because it became about the most extreme things they could show on the screen and would always just devolve into the audience and Collin saying 'oh!' every two seconds and they could never even get a clue in. Sometimes it was one of the best bits. Other times, I totally see what Ryan is talking about.
The Blue Streak is still the best coaster at Cedar Point. Especially if you loosen the seat belt a bit so that you can fly. The thrill of speed without the nausea and body aches.
I remember when I got the Mac computer I currently use back in 2013, one of the apps it had was Photo Booth. So I fired it up and fiddled around with it and saw where you could make a video with motion backdrops or even still backdrops of your own, and one of the motion backdrops was a real rollercoaster. It reminded me of this Newsflash so much. :-P

“Colin, how did this all start?” “It all started with a badly-timed bald joke!” I know those lines aren’t in this video, but they’re still hilarious either way.
I gotta know where the other coasters are from. Im almost sure the green hanging coaster was from Cedar point called "Raptor". I love how Colin looked like he was riding it half the time lol.
Drew I think you need to have a seat on that stool there Keep your hands where I can see them No one is gonna hurt you What are your plans for this evening?
Giving the audience points was great because they never get points and they were doing all of the sound effects in regards to the roller coaster bit.
It’s all in Bitcoin.
Do they have to share the points or do they get a thousand each?

This is perhaps the *best* example of "Newsflash." The humor comes from the commentary, not the shock value of what's being seen.
IMO the very best of Newsflash is the one where it's all footage of Ryan.
I like the one with Colin
I loved the audience going "woooOOOOOoooo!" At the beginning XD
I hope the audience was raising their arms above their heads like they were on a roller coaster.
Stealthlock lmao
Stealthlock If only they’d focus on things that matter and quit ruining it
If you've ever been on a rollercoaster It's instinctual 🎢🙆🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️🎢
At the beginning? It fucked up the sketch the entire time
"How did you manage to track down the story?" NICE ONE, RYAN!
I love hearing the audience during the whole thing LOL 😄
I think that is the loudest cheer the audience has ever given
zafjaf
Watch the one with Richard Simmons. 😁
They were good when Ryan was sitting on the bomb :D
zafjaf I hope they gave each other migraines, Geez

You should try and take a board game onto the ride. Glue the pieces down of course.

You couldn’t make that teenage hugging joke today
Bet?
@@kevincontreras2224 I guess you could make it, but it's a wee bit more edgy.

Dean Girl thanks for delivering an example
Yes you could.
I love how at the beginning Ryan and Colin are just sitting there nodding, like "I would let him hug my daughter".
Ryan: How did you manage to track down this story?
Colin: Well it was simple. I just... I just followed all the 'Ooooo!'-ing.
lol
Drewa laugh at 1:33 to the crowds wooo on the rollercoaster

How to choke and be completely hopeless. Eating on a roller coaster.

I had forgotten just how old the Raptor at Cedar Point actually is...
theunwelcome I know it was built before the great bear at Hershey and that was like 96/97
Raptor was opened in 1994.

That hugging joke would get drew fired today lol
omg him running and jumping i was nearly crying with laughter
The Smallville credit at the beginning was hilarious. :)
The audience was great XD
They were so excited when they got points too
Love the real, hearty laugh at 1:30 when he realizes what the audience is fully up to, lol

Especially when he says that he said the bald thing afterwards.
2:40 So I put my hands up, they're playing my song!
When Colin started running the first time 🤣
The kids trying to eat on the ride, LOL!!!
1000 points to the audience means they share the points.
RUclips Commenter One point per person
The roller coaster ride sure was a lonely one for Colin!! :P
Love that the audience are also giving out the hints

Colin: what's happening?
That was the best audience in the world!
The audience whooping along with the POV shots were actually kinda cute

1000 points to the audience, everyone goes crazy like they can cash them in at the gift shop
I mean, there was the episode where he was tossing $100 bills into the crowd...
Craziest shit, I used to work at the amusement park that had that wooden coaster, confirmed it when I saw it was the "Viper"
"can you possibly guess what it is?"
"I have no idea"
"SERIOUSLY!?"
2:25 that's the Raptor, at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH
After watching the skateboarding one this was some much needed wholesomeness
the green one was the Raptor at Cedar Point I luv that ride

That line would get him fired if that was today
Not sure if the audiences realizes that the points don't matter
Kathy Greenwood be so fine.
hey, that's El Toro of the Six Flags Great Adventure in U.S, NJ, I went on the ride two weeks ago.
it's the rides from six flags great adventure.
ThePurpIeChicken its from the UK. Blackpool pleasure beach I think.
That's actually Viper at Six Flags Great America. El Toro wouldn't be built till 2007.
