Hi. Thanks for this brilliant review. Best ever in fact. I am looking to buy a 2002 model exactly the same but worry about electrical faults. But should I or just enjoy the good times!
Hi thank you kindly for watching. If you can find a low mileage example with service history it should be fine. Also try to avoid machine operated car washes as the water ingress causes electrical faults. Many thanks.
@@dimaaftaritet my 2010 e60 525 has been so unreliable, coolant leaks, cam cover gasket, intelligent battery semsor, endless headache.i m thinking of buying this particular mercedes if it is more reliable
No. Dependents moslty on how it was configured by the first owner. For example mine has, and have a CLASSIC line model, but i still have a sunroof even tho I didn't want such option when I was looking for w211 komrpessors.
Hi I have a high mileage Mercedes 154k diesel. It still runs fine. Make sure you have service history with it and look out for oil leaks. Otherwise should be fine. Hope this helps.
@@sterlingtechuk8453 yeah. I actually just found one, 2006 2.2 97k miles. With 2.5 thousand pounds. Clean. Same condition as yours. I've been looking for a while. Not easy to find a good with a fair price. Cheers
@@carsyourdaddrove yes you need a Bluetooth adapter form ebay that fits the specific stereo, in mine it was the mercedes Audio 20 system, it has a port that connects to the aux port on the back of the head unit, you can then activate aux mode by holding the cdc button down on the stereo. This in turn activates the Bluetooth adapter. The tricky part is that you need to power it from the car there are many ways to do this but I chose to splice the power cables that go to the cigarette lighter socket as that only turns on when the ignition is on. You don't want it connected to anything that's on permanently as it will drain your car battery. Hope that helps! I believe there's a video on RUclips showing how to do it for a c class w203 but it's the same principle as the e class w211. I even did it in my clk and was the same.
The only problem of this model is the SBC, awesome system but expensive to fix. In The facelift the SBC was eliminated
that is what model year? 06-or 07?
@@TheHell666yeah this is the one equipped with SBC system
What does sbc system mean an is maintenance expensive?
Chain have been change during this driving period!?

U can get lucky with an e60 and have no problems but the w211 is usually pretty reliable

Hello does every e200 have a sunroof? I've been looking at one on FB but I don't see any sunroof on it

Does this car 2008 have automatic side golding mirrors?
it depends on version, but most of them got this
The cheapest in Greece is 8K
I should have sent mine over!
Does it have an aux? Or is the only music option the CD player?
pop out cd player only (6), no aux
You can fit a Bluetooth adapter behind the stereo very easily and activate it using the original stereo
@@George-nv1ri How do you install it? Is there a particular system to go for?

How can someone review a car without showing the engine bay
what are you going to do with that? When you drive you don't see the engine, that part is all about the mechanics that fix it.
