Interesting version of her surviving Luthien´s stealing of her magical cloak, for a big while untill meeting doom silently forgotten by everyone in the middle of Battle of Unumbered Tears.

Sadly she was very underdeveloped by Tolkien - as kinda he avoided to make much females as negative characters as a whole [there is just 5 of them on his work: Ungoliant, Shelob, Thuringwethil, Queen Beruthiel of Gondor and Lobelia Sackville-Baggins, most of them utterly underveloped and with vage open-loose endings never fully acknowledging proper retributive justice as he might do better on male villains or antagonists] - and she even got such a vague ending when it´s unknown how or when she passed away - if she did by chance tough it´s likely that´s what happened - as it´s never fully told how it happened and it just shows Luthien taking her magical cloak in the ground and using her magic to transform as her in disguise to infiltrate in Morgoth´s domains alongside Beren and Huon, and as Beren took the disguise of an already death werewolf - Drauglamir - it´s then likely Thuringwethil is already death so Luthien could use that cover on herself and why Morgoth didn´t get any report of Sauron´s defeat on properly time then.
(Regardless of Sauron going into hidding as a vampire escaping the punishment from Morgoth´after his humilliating defeat, still doesn´t make any sense why Morgoth didn´t find out untill very late on what happened if Thuringwethil was ever alive there, so... she wasn´t then for sure somehow, though she just vanishes out of record in all)
Sadly Thuringwethil´s hidden defeat was a very WASTED time not just for using a female antagonist on his stories, but actually may have worked for a stand-out cool time against Luthien as a female´s fight between moral opposites that might have worked to enrich the narrative but seems that Tolkien didn´t thought of it in all!! (It´s likely that Thuringwethil might still have been somewhat easily defeated by Luthien´s powers however it might be still an interesting yet short showdown between both, where the vampire might have been acting stealthy and tricky only to shown in the last moment, that Luthien was just playing harmless and helpless all time and taking the victory in a glorious sudden way shocking the villainess before his death.)

"Interesting analysis, but it feels like the video might be overreaching in interpreting Thuringwethil’s character. Tolkien gave very little detail about her, only describing her as a messenger for Sauron who took on a bat-like form. There’s no clear evidence of her having deep ambitions or a tragic downfall-those seem more like creative interpretations than canon. While exploring lesser-known characters is exciting, it’s important to separate Tolkien's actual lore from fan theories. What do you think about sticking closer to Tolkien’s original intent when analyzing these figures?"

I tend to like these interpretations more than sticking close to Tolkien's writings. There are many channels in youtube that do that and it's fine. Personally i enjoy these far better. And i say this while being a huge fan of Tolkien's writing.

@@nyxaelin729 That's a great perspective! It's awesome to appreciate different interpretations while still being a big fan of Tolkien’s work. Exploring new takes can bring a fresh perspective and keep the stories alive in exciting ways.

Yeah I know that a showdown scene between Luthien vs Thuringwethil will be so worthy to be seen and heard!! Tolkien was so close-minded to never develop this!!
