True. But I don’t like the studio chance of season 2. they are not as good as the previous one in making that deep feeling of making memories and letting go
Something I just noticed whilst re-watching the 1st episode is how different the Nameless Boy's paradise is, compared to others. When others have died, and are on the brink of deciding to continue on to paradise or not, they have crystal clear picture of their environment, loved ones and even themselves (picturing themselves as younger version or ones without scars). But the Nameless Boy's paradise is blank, he is surrounded by snow, his family are faceless silhouettes (as he has inevitably started to forget them after 5 years) and even the new people he meet are blank silhouettes. In the manga, the new people he imagines meeting are very blurry silhouettes. Because he grew up knowing only the frozen landscape he has no way of picturing what other, more intelligent people, would look like. Or even what other kind of environments there are in the world. The only ones who are portrayed crystal clear in his Paradise are himself and Joaan, the only light in his endless world of snow.
I- 🤯🙆🏻♀️ Damn... I am speechless. The nameless boy had it ROUGH. Wanna know what's worse? _Someone out there in the real world may be going through what this kid of 14 years went through._ (with the constant conflicts going on today.)
If you listen all of the ost, there is at least 3/4 similliar tone ,but its different,i've listen to Fushi awakening, gugu death, and pioran death there is a little different if you hear it closely & slowly
@@panjisaputra3126 Due to the different parts of the song, it is possible to cut it and use excerpts for different scenes. Also, keep in mind that there are variants of the same song. But in the case of Pioran's death, this same one was used without editing or cuts, and it is surprising how the changes in the parts of the song fit perfectly, especially when he dies, is young and then transforms.
@@lightningsensei Yup,every instruments that added at every death of a character who attached to fushi,it shows that how far & how much fushi has grow,it just beautiful:')👍
The climax at 2:05 plays for all of the important deaths in series at a moment of realization: (spoilers below) It plays at the end of episode 1 after the Nameless boy's death, when Fushi realizes that the nameless boy has died and that he can fulfill his dream It plays at the end of episode 5 where Parona shoots Hayase after March's death, and she realizes she has missed It plays during episode 12 when Gugu realizes that he has died in the afterlife It plays during Pioran's death when Fushi realizes that she has died And in season 2, it plays when Fushi realizes the two middle-aged people at the village were Tonari and Sanchel
1:14 This bit reminds me of Star Trek for some reason. Actually the entire show is almost Star Trek flavored. Every life matters. No death is in vain. A living probe learning from and with the universe
The saddest part is - In the climax of kimi no nawa he said remember me and then mitsuha said what was your name? In this anime the boy said remember me and we audience are asking what was his name 🙂 the makers hit it on spot.
After my dog has passed, i could not listen to this for a whole year or more, It would remind me of him and i would get depression. But now.. i can finally look death in the eye. And cry even more...
Watched ep 16 last night. What a lousey situation for Fushi. That didn't sit well with me. I just learned there will be a season 2. And... why is the soundtrack not available on CD? I've looked at many places. Cannot find it.
@@MHendersonCounseling VMDB is showing 3 discs in all... two soundtrack and one of the Hikaru Utada op. Is that all in the blue ray package? CD Japan has that for about $150. The listing says it contains eps 1-6. running tim 150 minutes, 2 discs. No mention of an audio CD.
@@arthursemeghinigallo3336 I feel like I lost a loved one. This is a series that ended too soon. In 35+ years of watching anime, nothing else has had such an impact for me. This has become my favorite series. It eliminated or minimized everything that I dislike about anime, and emphasized the qualities that can make anime a great medium for story telling. Over 20 episodes, I've seen love and loss, growth of a "monster" into a caring, compassionate human. I've discovered that I can come to love a 90 year old woman. I've discovered that natural chemistry between characters can be achieved (Boozeman and Pioran), that voice acting can be realistic, that music can become a part of the whole in a seamless manner. I've discovered that anime characters can be dignified and beautiful and not exaggerated. And finally, that a story can be told in a natural progression without any pretense. I love this series! Have read the manga, bought the the first two blurays, have the third one on order and anxiously await season 2.
