To the people saying to leave it be, I think it deserves a reboot because the anime didn’t live up to the original source material and it felt rushed after season 1. I understand the manga ended but shows have had reboots before and some are pretty good.

Lampa Oficial Well, from the manga, Kaneki 'died' but was actually captured by Arima and is now a Ghoul Investigator under the name Sasaki Haise. That happened as well with the anime, besides the whole Investigator thing.
I definitely prefer some older anime like cowboy, but those have flaws too. Its nowhere near perfect, but it mixes fighting with emotions and themes you won't find in other places. The anime wasn't wonderful, but the manga does a great job and it's worth reading before the anime (thats what i do at least)

This anime changed me too for a long time. I got obsessed with Tokyo Ghoul and i developed some traits in my personality thanks to that, and it was not bad. Tokyo Ghoul made me love poetry, emitional musics, and so on.

out of the 34 anime’s i’ve watched, this particular anime gives me a weird vibe, but it’s a good one and i can’t really explain it. tokyo ghoul has a special place in my heart, it feels different than the other anime i’ve watched so glad i was able to watch this.
Tokyo ghoul was of that kind. You know, the anime that are too fucking special. Nothing will ever come close to TK. It is the same weird feeling that you get from 91days, Dr. Stone, kimetsu no yaiba and some more. This is one of a kind. Praise it.
Tokyo Ghoul is absolutely one of a kind I wish they had just sticked to the manga and take the seasons a bit slow rather than rushing it than the reviews and ratings of the anime would've been complete opposite as they're now as I'm reading the managa now gotta admit Sui Ishida is a genius for writing this masterpiece
@gachadick I didn't really like the 2nd season. They changed it completely. Kaneki never joined Aogiri in the manga, so why would he in the anime? The first season was perfect though.

Give saya no uta a try.. be warned it is a horror but not like that will phase you. right? It also asks the question what does it mean to be human... but in a much darker way. Please dont hate it.. its made by the guy behind madoka magica.. and that work made me feel emotions again when i was considering.. dark things.

Agreed. I use to think the soundtracks in Naruto were emotional. Than I come to Tokyo ghoul. The Naruto soundtracks are still pretty emotional but they wouldn’t be nearly like that without watching the anime. But Tokyo ghouls soundtracks are emotional without watching it. Kill la Kill - Blumenkranz (Dual Mix) is a good example of a good remix, it adds a few instruments that plays at the same time as the original sounds.

This theme is already saturated. It's baroque in its instrument richness, but you can hardly take anything away other than everything but the motive, as piano covers do. What a remix can make here? Add a freaking dubstep as most of them do? Yeah, who'd drink a 50 yeah old cognac without soda?

I watched this anime for the very first time in December 2018, when I was hospitalized for a blood infection. This show helped my mind to combat the infection. I am now a perfectly healthy 15 y/o, with major nostalgia from listening back to a song from a show that probably saved my life.
This OST makes me think about Kaneki's fate, like, he was just a normal shy person that liked to read books that had a best friend and now hes a Ghoul that isn't actually shy and his personality changed alot and think of what he've been through, he've been different personalities, tortured by Yamori, tortured mentally by Arima, turning into Sasaki Haise, and then coming back to being Kaneki that we know

out of the 34 anime’s i’ve watched, this particular anime gives me a weird vibe, but it’s a good one and i can’t really explain it. tokyo ghoul has a special place in my heart, it feels different than the other anime i’ve watched so glad i was able to watch this.
Same i have watched attack on tittan ,death note and other psychologiast anime but this is the only one who made me sad and cry

Tokyo ghoul was of that kind. You know, the anime that are too fucking special. Nothing will ever come close to TK. It is the same weird feeling that you get from 91days, Dr. Stone, kimetsu no yaiba and some more. This is one of a kind. Praise it.
Tokyo Ghoul is absolutely one of a kind I wish they had just sticked to the manga and take the seasons a bit slow rather than rushing it than the reviews and ratings of the anime would've been complete opposite as they're now as I'm reading the managa now gotta admit Sui Ishida is a genius for writing this masterpiece

@gachadick I didn't really like the 2nd season. They changed it completely. Kaneki never joined Aogiri in the manga, so why would he in the anime? The first season was perfect though.

Agreed. I use to think the soundtracks in Naruto were emotional. Than I come to Tokyo ghoul. The Naruto soundtracks are still pretty emotional but they wouldn’t be nearly like that without watching the anime. But Tokyo ghouls soundtracks are emotional without watching it. But watching makes it that much more better.

Kill la Kill - Blumenkranz (Dual Mix) is a good example of a good remix, it adds a few instruments that plays at the same time as the original sounds.

What I think is that if the song is already beautiful and it touches your heart then a remix will only result will be a song not as good as the original....
Example : Shelter,it's a beautiful short film which I hope had been made into at least a movie but the remixes are not even in the same league
This theme is already saturated. It's baroque in its instrument richness, but you can hardly take anything away other than everything but the motive, as piano covers do.
What a remix can make here? Add a freaking dubstep as most of them do? Yeah, who'd drink a 50 yeah old cognac without soda?

I watched this anime for the very first time in December 2018, when I was hospitalized for a blood infection. This show helped my mind to combat the infection. I am now a perfectly healthy 15 y/o, with major nostalgia from listening back to a song from a show that probably saved my life.

This OST makes me think about Kaneki's fate, like, he was just a normal shy person that liked to read books that had a best friend and now hes a Ghoul that isn't actually shy and his personality changed alot and think of what he've been through, he've been different personalities, tortured by Yamori, tortured mentally by Arima, turning into Sasaki Haise, and then coming back to being Kaneki that we know
He is a normal person who lived in abnormal world.
