Rework: -First star power in the base kit -Second star power rework: Punching Bag, you can use gratis your super for returning your knuckles 2 times -New first star power: Pick the glove, you obtain a damage buff when you pick your knuckles(like the speed boost) -Second gadget rework: Unarmed will, (you can use it when you don't have your knuckles) obtain a shield and a constant heal that gets stronger the more you are near the knuckles for 4,5 seconds (Max-when you pick your knuckles, min- half super's range)
As a Sam Main I appreciate this video being a really good breakdown of his strengths and weaknesses, especially when it comes to how much he relies on maps to have walls to be viable, thats something that doesn't get nearly mentioned enough despite being one of the most important thing for him to be a viable pick (aside from the meta not but fucking Tanks for the 100th time)
@@gothicmitama0372 not really lol. Moe is just shoot straight with a dash, kenji is just mortis but better, barry is just barley with heal. Sam is fundamentally unique compared to those that are just normal brawlers but tweaked one thing
@@cwj_721 Moe will be harder to use after he gets nerfed into oblivion which is inevitable. Clancy is a unique shooter that requires patience until you get him to lvl 3. Kenji is NOT a Mortis 2.0, his playstyle is completely different which you’d only know if you have kenji. I do agree about berry though. I’m not saying Sam isn’t unique, but to say that new brawlers lack creativity or uniqueness in terms of gameplay is just pure bias

Being honest? Sam has one of the greatest stats ever,10k hp and high damage and high speed and everything, it's his kit what draws it back in addition to not having a hypercharge and the meta is very very anti tanks right now,i would definitely give him a hypercharge with a few changes
I think a good star power they could add if he gets the Chester treatment would be one two punch (lol lazy name): Following a basic attack the next super deals an additional 30% damage. This gives him a 6,840 damage combo at lvl 11 letting him one combo most average health targets which would be a lot more rewarding if you can cover the distance. (A cool down of like 1-3 seconds might balance if it’s abused)
What about the next punch in the main attack deals more damage? (A basic box combination is the one two punch where the second is a lot harder than the first) Kinda how combo shrooms work
I don't see how this could be indicated and intuitive. Plus, both his star powers should be removed, the first one as a passive and the second one straight to the trash

@@darronfranklin3466 i would make it so if you hit an enemy at max range you are allowed to call them back The more the distance the more porcentage of super the super has Now if you hit 3 enemies the super charges itself and you can call them back, so make it at max distance the charge of the super hitting someone is like 300% (no sure if that's how percentages works) And at melee range is like normal This could give the option of throwing the gloves and having the ability to call then back (it would require skill tho) And make the 1st one part of the base kit, and replace it with some boxing thing like a third punch with more damage idk something wacky
6:13 actually shield is in fact the best,i use all gears(except vision ig) on sam since each has a different use but I'm starting to appreciate shield far more than healing because heal pays nothing against counters

I just perma ban Gale, he genuinely makes Sam unplayable. Against gale I'm basically just a walking ult charge that can't do like literally anything. Tbf the simplest fix would be not first picking Sam everywhere, but that's not happening... sorry teammates.

About the gloves, i think it's about time See, when you throw them in front of you (a wall), you take some time to pick them up again So my theory is that there's some time window that you have to stay in the range of the gloves to pick them up, it's hard to explain but i had moments where they kinda followed me because i was the right time in their range And every time i missed them i just pass them hoping to pick them (i didn't)

(Charges in 10secs) ~New starpower (Quick One Two): Sam's knuckle pickup Radius is increased by X of his previous nonexistent radiius (he reaches and picks them up from a distance like kits super dismount or mortis dash, so he doesnt have to be on top of them) ~Second starpower rework: Makes Sam's knuckles build up energy faster reducing knuckles recharge by 50% Second Gadget Rework: Sam immediately recalls knuckles (like Lawrie gadget but knuckles flyin right back at dealing damage to anything on the way back) (For a deserved Sam Meta let it also stun and steal one ammo 😉) (More fun ideas instead of the previous ~First Star power now heals more up to 45% of max HP when picking up knuckles or Gain a Shield of 20% when you have knuckles on (or have rhe shiled vice versa, when you throw the knuckles ~ Second Star power gives you stacks that increase knuckles damage by 9% everytime you throw and pick up knuckles (max stacks 4) )
The pickup range for sam's gloves is centered slightly above where it looks, so especially when it's thrown forward it feels like its just out of reach somtimes
i didnt know that they made it so sam cant recall his gloves while theyre in the air, thats actually new when i was getting sam title, it was still possible to recall gloves while they were in the air, i even made 1 or 2 plays where i used his super like a carl attack to just boomerang through an entire enemy team so it mustve been removed in an incidental change that happened with some bug fixes a bit ago also sams no glove punches are better than he gives them credit for, they do half damage (1600 per ammo), but at much higher reload and unload speed its practically the same damage output as with gloves, the big difference is that you cant combo baby punches into your super unless youre gonna recall the gloves through the enemy yes the gloves to damage on the way back when recalling, its 1400, half what they do on the way out, if youre a sweaty tryhard you can try to donk somebody with the gloves while theyre on their way back to you

Sam is also one of those brawlers where using a skin just makes you better
