This...is absolutely beautiful. Oh my god. How was I not able to find your channel sooner? The music is just incredible for this scene, In both this cover and the in-game cutscene. What I normally (and personally) expect is for the musician to build up the climax, and have the instruments to drop the intensity dramatically. Here, you did the opposite; yes, you did build the climax, but the build-up was still soft. At the part where the tension was supposed to dissolve, you kept it, which is the perfect feel for this cutscene. The music kept me on the edge for the majority of this cover, and I love that. @@arpon826 I'd say the balancing of the instruments is key and to know the role of the instrument in the orchestra. Listen to a lot of orchestral music and try to pinpoint which sound is coming from which instruments. And practice! 😁
Maybe Yu Peng drew inspiration from that, there is a final lesson being taught here to Xiao, he doesn't have to sacrifice himself for a good ending, he can rely on other people's strengths to cover for his weaknesses. With this story now complete, Xiao's chapter has come to a close, just like with Ei, it's up to Xiao to effect good change in his life with the lessons he learned in the Chasm. Where Murata Himeko succeeded in saving Kiana from herself, she sacrificed herself in order to achieve that, it was a terrible loss for Schicksal and humanity to lose Himeko like that and the Hyperion, two terrible prices to pay for a Herscherr on your side.
