    I love the photos of Kurt, the rancher. Especially posing at the pickup truck with the dog in the truck window. That's just a classic shot. Great video!

    That first tiltshift shot of the road was killer. Great shots, great video and a great guy. Thanks man

    X-Pan is so cool! Really alters your composition skills in a good way. In this case, shoot to crop don’t crop your shoot lol. Great video and great topic! 🎉

    Great stuff, Jerred, as ever. I especially loved the rancher with his cows in the background, and the school house plus tractor and body of water.
    I feel like the X-T5, with its 40MP could also offer this aspect ratio in the menu!
    EDIT: quick and dirty algebra suggests circa 22MP left? Plenty!

      TOTALLY plenty!

    Very likeable video with great pictures.
    (I'll do it with the poor man's version: Panasonic S2 + Voigtlaender 35 1,4 + m to l adapter)

    Great photos. I will try that aspect ratio. I live in Saskatchewan (Canadian Prairies). You may not have our winter snow but the landscape is pretty similar. Wide open land is really suited for this aspect ratio.

    Hey Jarred... Just found your channel... I am also a Fuji shooter and originally feom Omaha. I might roadtrip back next month to see my parents and would love some suggestions on places to get lost and shoot within an hour or so of Omaha? I love Western Nebraska, but I don't think I am going to be able to make it out.
    Strongly considering a GFX 50s II or the new GFX 100s II. I miss larger format (former Hasselblad and Mamiya 7 shooter). I also miss my 6x17 Fuji!

    Only just started shooting some panos with the R7 pano mode which like a phone you pan the camera round while taking the pic I would love to see a comparison of image quality with cameras like the r7 r6 mk2 and any others with pano mode compared to such as the medium format bodies single pan image

    Looks like you’re shooting with a polarizer - the high sun coupled with the intense blue sky… right?

    • @JerredZ
      @JerredZ  8 месяцев назад

      Actually, no. The GFX files have so much color information there's enough blue there to bring back!

    Where are the prints?

      Do you mean have I printed these?

    • @Swingkid14
      @Swingkid14 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@JerredZ probably not. But I don't see the point of using a 100mp medium format camera unless it's for printing big nice images.

    • @JerredZ
      @JerredZ  11 месяцев назад

      @@Swingkid14 Oh! Gotcha - I agree! I shoot for ultra-big prints. I am working on multiple projects that need prints consistently larger than 100" - so GFX is a great solution for those.
