In this video, learn how to connect, test and trim a HART smart pressure transmitter to the Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibration.
Configuration of the Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator with the correct combination of sourcing and measurement is demonstrated based on the HART configuration of the transmitter. The transmitter’s as-found performance is documented, the transmitter is adjusted using HART commands from the DPC and the post adjustment as-left condition of the transmitter is documented.
Whether you're calibrating instruments, troubleshooting a problem, or running routine maintenance, the Fluke 754 with HART® communication can help you get the job done faster. This rugged, reliable integrated communicating calibrator is ideal for calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting HART and other instrumentation.
The Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator does the work of several tools. It sources, simulates and measures pressure, temperature, and electrical signals with one rugged, hand-held device. For documentation, the 754 automates calibration procedures and captures your data. And, of course, it helps you meet rigorous standards like ISO 9000, FDA, EPA and OSHA regulations. Plus, the new improved graphical screen, Li-Ion battery for longer life, USB port, and accessories help you work smarter and faster.

I'm doing a three-point calibration on a 3051 Rosemount 0-25" h2O with a Fluke 754 in Hart mode. When applying 12.5" at mid, the signal back always exceeds the 12 ma I expect. Usually around 15 ma. It's acting like the sensor output is skewed at the mid-point only.
    Any suggestions?

Hello John - It sounds like you might have the calibration set for square root. It should be set for linear. Let me know if this works out. Please feel free to reach out again or contact our Technical Support team at 1-800-443-5853.

Good afternoon, an innocent question. What error percentage does the calinter indicate? in 0 PSI try relative error (Vm-V) / V and I can not match that error indicated by the video.
