Love watching your videos while I wait for my copy. My recommendation would be to delay taking those keys until your deck is really popping off. And prioritize early attack picks!
That's a good idea. The last couple of days in the video game I've been doing that and it's been working better. I think I'll still go for the elite once since I don't think it's that scary in the board game, but that's a good tip!
@@Kangorth Burning is for act 2 or three, so the burns hit less hard. You had a good Ironclad build going, I've seen what those can do, you just needed a more focused deck or better Relics. The most powerful Ironclad build I've seen had three attacks, Bash and Body Slam. It had Juggernaut to do basically all it's damage, With Metalize, Evolve, Feel no Pain further feeding the block and damage. Capped off with Barricade, The Ironclad was unstoppable. Once hitting for 80 damage on Body Slam by drawing it back three times in one turn.

Just a few Tips. Take damage over defense at the start of a run. Choose fights over events in the beginning. You need cards and potions for elites and money for the merchant. Transforming is almost always better then removing or upgrading in the beginning. The card and the potionon the left side of the shop costs 1 less.
Whirlwind is clearly the better pick in the beginning. I scales nicely with strength and makes multifights a breeze. Flame Barrier is nice, but early on you defenitly need damage over Block.
Agreed, I'm starting to value aoe damage quite a bit now. It's good on its own and scales so much with more enemies. They get so much better in multiplayer too since you can just shut down a row that's dangerous
A good option could’ve been burning pact instead of wild strike to go on the block everything path. Every time you exhaust a strike you make it more likely to combo defends, flame barriers, and your upgraded body slam plus the draw will allow you to get your 0 cost body slam back. There’s also a lot of other exhaust synergies in ironclad deck that would open up after that burning pact.
I really need to explore exhaust as well as discard for the Silent, in both video and board game. But that's a great idea, force the deck to be nothing but blocks

It is just me or Ironclad is the most boring class in StS? I'm on A20 on Defect and Silent, but i can't get past A9 on Ironclad 😂 Great playthrough like always! Can't wait for Silent! I hope I will recieve my copy soon
I have fun with the ironclad but I'm not the best at STS. I think I got to a relative high ascension on all the characters but it's been a minute since I checked my main profile (I made a new one when this came out, ascension 4 so far on all 4)
@StereoJoe you would absolutely need to go on and out of the box with reduced space for sure. But each combat is really only your play mat area and the enemy. But obviously having it all out makes things easier for sure
@StereoJoe well only do what you are comfortable with. If I had limited space myself I would use the playmat, have probably the reward decks out (2 stacks) and then the enemy card. Then use the box for everything else. It's possible, just will be a little annoying.
Wording looks like each block you gain you deal 1 damage, so gain 4 block means deal 4 damage right? You were dealing 1 damage when you would gain any amount of block, You had it… lol
I think it says, each time you gain block, deal 1 damage. Could go either way. I'm not quite sure XD whether it is for each block you get, or each time you obtain block at all. Maybe your read is the correct one, if so it's much more powerful!
I think that if you had drawn the anger before using wild strike you could have killed the bronze automaton 🤔 Well, easy to say when I am not the one who has to think under pressure
I think what it means is, if an enemy have multiple attacks you deal 1 damage for each attack. For example, if an enemy attack you once with 4 damage, enemy takes 1 damage, but if an enemy would attack 4 times that deals 1 damage you would deal 4 instead. Hope it helps 😀
I'm super excited for this game, but I live in Europe and we have to wait another month before it arrives, so it's just fun watching another play the game :)

It seems you are forgetting that at each shop, you also reveal 3 cards from your reward deck which you can buy

You could definitely play this game with less space than I present here. As you said, just a playmat would do with the box handy :)
