I'm 31 years old male. I've had molluscum for 3 months now , 1 month ago is when I decided to start to treat it by myself at home , I have molluscum in the groin area. I started taking baths twice a day , and always wear clean underwear , but the most important thing that I started doing was to pour 76% alcohol in a plastic cup , and pour apple cider vinegar also in that plastic cup mix them and apply it with a piece of cotton or toilet paper all over my molluscum infected area and I would soak my skin and make it very wet with the alcohol/applecider-vinager mix , it burns a bit but it kills the molluscum pimples much much faster compared to when I was not doing nothing to treat it. This mix I make makes these molluscum pimples swell up a bit and after a day or two it makes them start to turn dark and that's how you know that the pimple is dying. also going to the beach and staying very long in salt water also seemed to help kill the molluscum quicker , that's why I go to the beach every weekend now and I take regular baths and after bathing I apply the alcohol/applecider-vinager mix on my body and I don't put on clothes until my soaked skin has dried up by itself , I just stay naked and let the vinager and alcohol finish penetrating my skin , that's how my molluscum have reduced greatly in number , in a couple of weeks I'll be totally free from this dirty molluscum contagiosum sickness. I wanted to share my secret with others
Hope it helps all af you ,and also the higher the alcohol percentage in the alcohol bottle the better

Thank you so much for this information! I’m only 12 and I just discovered this pimple-like things on my foot, I started freaking out cuz I used a wart treatment but it didn’t do anything except it’s starting getting irritated more. This molluscum is very irritating and itchy but hopefully your tips will help! I’ll for sure use your alcohol/apple cider-vinegar tip!

Yeah I’m freaking out because I got the same thing I haven’t been sexually active. And all of a sudden since July I’ve seen these little bumps start to grow it looks just like what’s in the video. So rubbing alcohol and apple cider vinegar will clear this up? How often a day do you dab them on?

I don't know where I got this virus, I was down and sad when i think about it. The doctor say It's okay but the google scared me. I used to consume multivitamin everyday. My husband is free from molluscum, but from the moment i know i got this virus, I always use condom.

    My experience and Solution:
    1) Apply lots of powder (i used ponds) to affected area.
    2) While showering if you can pluck 1 or 2 do it. (only if it comes out easily, do not force)
    3) optional : applied black seed oil at night (wear underwear so oil does not spread)
    it goes within 2-3 week.

I had it several years ago. The papules are "gross," for lack of a better word. My physician prescribed Imiquimod, but it still took TWO YEARS to clear! I was NOT immunocompromised. Consider yourself very lucky if it clears in just two MONTHS! Oddly, neither my sexual partner during - nor my different sexual partner prior to - the outbreak ever displayed any symptoms. I was never certain which transmitted it to me. The only important and useful information back then that was unavailable was the duration of the incubation period. I hope this helps!

I caught it off my grandkids before we knew what it was and I've had it for 2 years and am only now seeing a reduction of papules over the last few weeks, with some disappearing and one on my scalp that I'd had for about 18months coming away when I brushed my hair. I have my fingers crossed that I'm finally kicking it but it took its sweet time!
I mainly had them on my neck, underarms and scalp, with a few on my limbs and one on the back of my hand.
My grandkids, 7 and 2, took about 8 weeks to kick it. Young, strong immune systems as opposed to my much older, slightly worn out one!

I cleared mine in 8 months….. I had around 15 spots to start as I didn’t know I had it. It was on my 🍑 so I didn’t see them and they spread. I started laser on them with a dermatologist and I had to go back every 3-4 weeks as I kept getting new spots. 25 spots and 8 months later …. I’m finally clear

my doc wants to do the scalpel procedure. She said it is easy. I cant do this myself. Gonna have to pay the specialist to do this. I went to an infectologist as well and he said that the way to fix this is to pluck them out. I have like 30 in my groin area and balls. Lots of them are tiny and still don't have the white substance in them yet. Those cant be plucked. I need this to be gone yesterday. Its been 2 months now. Btw, you got balls to do that yourself.

I've had this for 3 years ,.. 6 doctors ,.. 1 dermatologist and going to see another doctor tomorrow,..
3 of the 6 docs misdiagnosed this as a form of simple yeast infection,.. 3 of them prescribed a zinc powder,..none of course worked.
the dermatologist assumed it was fungal without testing it because I also had a foot fungal issue and he thought it may have been transmitted as I
placed my foot upon my toilette seat to cut my toenails.
the telltale dome belly button legions around the hair should of told them long ago this wasn't yeast ,..but that's the va docs for ya.
