- Join me to test drive this Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum in calm and open water. We discuss the feeling from the helm as we take her through the REV range from displacement speed, to best cruise and wide open throttle while explaining the the fuel burn to you and overall experience from the helm - hint, it's amazing!
*My main microphone malfunctioned so you're listening to the backup microphone which doesn't give you the true sound experience I was hearing. This backup mic has some disturbance which we did not hear during the test. Too much salt water getting on my equipment - sorry!

Fantastic footage. Thanks for that. This boat gets the imagination running.
No worries Jadomi. This was an easy boat to film from even in waves as she's such a stable platform.
Great vid, thanks, what remote control system was on this boat?
No worries, yes the remote docking system was installed on this boat
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Hi, I wanted to know what brand of remote, however watched your walk through video and saw it is Dockmate.👍
Please do some videos on the SUVs and Sports Motor Yachts.
They are on my list so yes I am trying
The AMERICANS do not need Riviera introduced to them... Captain Steven on BOATTEST adores them and promotes them as basically the best production yacht in the world. He sold me on them for sure. Obviously not much use in Europe given their lack of dealers, but not as much need for them either. They're Class A yachts. You can really use Class A around Australia and Florida... and yeah in the North Sea... but you don't need Class A in the med. You just don't.
Thats so great to hear! I've never been to the US so didn't realise they were so well known. Been watching Captain Steve for yonks, he's awesome. Agreed, they are probably one of the best production build boats around.
