anslaughter (Texas Penal Code 19.04): The difference between murder and manslaughter is that manslaughter occurs when you cause the death of an individual as a result of your reckless disregard for human life. Manslaughter can be separated into two classifications: involuntary manslaughter (negligently causing the death of another person without intent to kill) and voluntary manslaughter (intentionally killing another person in the heat of the moment).
@@freemind6708 involuntary manslaughter is what i was thinking too. Murder is a stretch. involuntary manslaughter will be easier to convict.

Well it takes about 2-3 months to get a passport so that happened well before Takeoff got killed. Plus the trip was also canceled before Takeoff was killed. So that's that

They’re laughing and jeering about the suggestion by dudes attorney that it’s pure happenstance that this suspect planned a trip to Mexico BEFORE the shooting incident. That’s kind of premature considering they didn’t say one way or the other that we the public know WHEN he got that rushed passport. Until we know that it was done AFTER the shooting, they shouldn’t be making these kinds of accusatory assertions before the trial. No matter how likely it is that he did indeed get the passport AFTERWARDS.

He was released on a 1mil bond. He has to stay at his mother's house.
Most of the jailhouse lawyers don't know what they are talking about. My understanding of the facts is Lil Cam shot first. DJ Pat and Migos Bands fired back at Cam to protect a 3rd party. If that's the evidence then DJ Pat is not guilty of murder. Lil Cam can be convicted of murder under the felony murder rule because he intimated everything and his actions led to Takeoff's killing. DJ Pat can be found guilty of negligent homicide- i.e. manslaughter, reckless endangerment if it is proven he fired recklessly.

Other side of the coin…driving to Mexico thru the Texas border requires no passport. Same as Cali. Flying there is different. What fool waits for a passport to fly to Mexico when u could’ve been there driving? 😏

The lawyer is not supposed to make a definitive statement that their client is innocent. They can relay their client's belief of his/her own innocence.
I hear definitive statements of clients innocence pretty regularly.

I’m not saying he’s right , wrong, guilty, not guilty, not sticking up for him what so ever, I’ve just always been so confused how if you’re “innocent until proven guilty” how they can put you in a jail cell and give you a 2 million dollar bond otherwise you can’t get out and have to sit in jail if you have not been FOUND GUILTY or convicted of a crime ??!! I mean that seems to me that you are guilty until proven innocent ??!! That just doesn’t ever make any sense to me ?? Lol Because what if he IS completely innocent and doesn’t have the money to post bond you have to sit in jail until you either post bail or you go to court and are proven innocent ?!!! If you’re innocent you just spent all that time in jail for absolutely no reason
It's because the alternative is to let all criminals go free until their trial. That would include mass shooters etc..
Note that you only pay 10% of bond because they have an insurance system basically. I know that doesn't change your point much but it does mean those values you see in the news are inflated.
Ok but look on the other hand, unless you're going to have 24/7 surveillance elsewhere, what's to prevent the potentially guilty party from being a flight risk? Even some people who pay part of or all of the bond have tended to try and flee before a trial/charge. (Not saying all or most, just some.)
