I'm going through music I used to listen to ~2 years ago, and this song nearly made me cry. Y'know why? Because it used to basically be my theme song, and now I can barely relate at all.
Two years ago, I was not in a good place mentally. I had a whole lot of repressed emotions and a whole lot of anxiety. I would often go nonverbal rather than admit I even had emotions, let alone discuss what those emotions were.
Since then, I've learned to (mostly) manage my anxiety. I forced myself to talk about my feelings, because that was the only way to actually process them. I came out as trans. I taught myself not to make self-deprecating jokes. I stopped holding myself to an impossible standard.
And it hasn't been easy. Things still aren't perfect. But I promise, the future is always brighter than you know. Maybe now that sounds like a stupid platitude that doesn't apply to you, but I assure you, it really does get better.
This is still a comfort song for me 7 years later :]

i udes artificial harmonies so then they stack it makes this metallic sound, but i guess you can EQ that

MAIKA sounds nice. My only problem is: I can barely understand what she's singing, when she's signing in English. Half the time it sounds like mumbling, with some "is this actually Spanish?" and "Ok, I can understand her at this part" thrown in (the last part is rare)
