Thank you so much for the information. I am planning a trip back to California and I haven’t been there since leaving in 1990. I grew up in the foot hills and always tell my wife of 30 years how incredible it was and how as a child I took it for granted. I want to get back into that area and discovered the rail bikes but I have some mobility problems and was worried I’d ruin the tour for others by giving out but it sounds like that’s not an issue. All the videos I’ve watched hasn’t made that clear until yours. Thank you.

Yep no issue at all as you don't have to peddle at all if you don't want to!

Hi this was a really helpful video. Is the 4 hours including the hike up and down or just the round trip bike riding?

    • @californiahikebike

Just the round trip and the stop at the turnaround for lunch.....But it goes by fast.

Is there a restroom at camp noyo? If so, is it a toilet or a porta potty?

Good question....at about 8:50 I talked a little about it. It's a restroom that is kinda like a portapotty if that makes sense. There are portas at the parking area as well where you start and end the day.

@@californiahikebike Thanks for making this great video! Very informative and helpful! Just can't pull the trigger as it would cost us $1k...price of a decent e-bike.

@Herman Lee How many people? 1 or 2 to a bike for same price. Cost is per bike not per person in case you aren't aware....We would do it again and will!
