Yes, pedal system is comfortable but not efficient. There are more efficient systems like the Hobie Mirage pedal drive. No, Pedal system has not broker down on me. It could be tiring depending on the weight and distance. I have other videos on this kayak, I recommend you watch those first, it answers almost all you questions and more. Also read all the comments, they cover everything on this kayak. I sold this kayak years ago, so I no longer have it. Thanks!
Nice rig, thanks for the demo of your setup. Really looking into buying a Mako 12. I'd like to know how quick youre able to switch the kayak from car top transport state to a fishable state.
Thanks! I appreciate the info. I just bought a mako 12 and have only taken it out 3 times and I am learning more about what I need to rig it with. The keeleazy guard is something I need badly lol!
Sold it last month. It held up pretty good until now. Little rust here and there. Make sure you clean it real good after each use. Especially the clams that's adjusts the seats. I was hauling a lot of weight with my son sitting in the front. Legs were giving out after a 2-3 miles. I am using a ocean kayak tandem for now. Maybe will buy the vibe shearwater when it comes out.

Has the pedal system ever broken down?
Is pedaling tiring?
Does the canoe get water into it?

@ subbed, you have a nice channel. If you are looking into getting a kayak, look into hobie compass.

Thank you Sir.

It takes roughly 15 minutes give or take. Most of the items are screw on or snap in place. I might do a video, now I am curious to know myself. :)
@@Saltloony I would look forward to that if you made a vid. Thanks for the reply!
thanks!!!
Thank you.
What did u use for the keel guard? Also how did I install ur transducer for the fish finder? Great vid! Thanks!
Thank you for the comment. Product name is keeleazy. Please see my video. ruclips.net/video/go-0mOpHySM/видео.html

Nice set up! Can you tell where you bought that guard on the bottom of your kayak? It’s a Q Guard?
It is called keeleazy. They sell 2 and 4 inch strips. They sell 2 types. I believe the plastic one are for kayaks.

@@dwayneb72 I heard nothing, but good things about Nucanoe. I just purchased a 2020 Hobie Compass, but thanks for the recommendation.
Where do you mount your transducer?
Inside the hull, make sure there are no air pockets.
