See how Jamie knows how to sell Riho’s move? That’s because of Jamie’s time in Japan so she knows how to wrestle Japanese women’s match. Ruby hasn’t had that experience so her chemistry with Riho was horrible. Even Britt Baker had issues selling some of the moves.
Thats why Jamie should break away from Britt Baker. She is mad talented and i want to see that power and technical skills she honed in NJPW, at an AEW title match.

All other battles, Hayter always comes out on top. Baker is protected with that accidental punch and someone else eats the pin for her. Soho will be fine. She was battered to a pulp by Rose so selling that arm vs Jade was the ticket. And look how Soho bounced back here! She will be champ one day.

Honestly, this looked sloppy in a few spots. At the end, when Riho lands out of that suplex it looks like Britt just runs straight ahead into Hatter's forearm, it doesn't look like she is aiming for Riho at all. Riho was right in front of her, why wouldn't she hit her right after she landed right in front of her? It looked out of position.
Some skipped parts. Really miss that good tag early on the corner between the four of them. If Riho loses at Battle of the Belts, I bet Jamie Hayter is next. They really tease their break-up again. And Women's Eliminator Tournament to think about. Love Chris Jericho on commentary. Riho comparing to Jackie Chan in terms of swift moves was sweet. Overall, this is Riho's moment in the sun. Don't know what will it be for her next but for a main event at Battle of the Belts, Riho will have a big match even if she loses especially there's no idea if they'll keep her around or this could be her last hurrah. Also missed how Baker left alone on the ramp with Reba talking with Hayter.
for me aew expecting us to view riho as a strong challenger is like them asking me to suspend my belief to the same point as if they asked me to do so about marko stunt possibly beating hangman.
