Created by the award-winning studio Simogo-best known for the critically acclaimed games DEVICE 6 and Year Walk-Sayonara Wild Hearts is an adrenaline-pumping arcade game in which players take control of The Fool, a masked biker on an interdimensional quest to find and break the hearts of rivalling bikers.
The game features a custom-written vocal pop soundtrack tightly interwoven with gameplay and includes a cast of stylish characters based on tarot cards, while synthesizing electric pop, dance, fashion, anime, arcade games and subcultures, and much more.

i remember booting this up for the first time and streamed it for a couple lads. i cried at the end but told no one. the songs took my breath away.

I've beat this game 9 times already, you don't experience it till you've golded every level. My favorite being Inside. My all time favorite against Little Death
I'm trying to get gold as well, but how tf do you get gold on Begin Again?
@@jarredsmith7375 it's really simple, it's mainly just not dying. If you never die on the level, you'll rack up points. The way the game works is that when you collect small hearts it goes up by one, collecting medium ones will go up by 25, and the white diamonds will give you 1000. So by not dying and just collecting, it multiplies all the points which goes up to 60,000 points if not higher
But if you do die, it resets the points back to x1
Inside is my favourite too! After that comes Mine and Begin again, later the world we knew :3

I hope in the decades to come this game will be remembered as one of the masterpieces that made games into a respected art form.... in terms of pure game mechanics it's mostly a endless runner which I would normally dismiss as meh. Here, the very mechanic is used metaphorically to describe the long winding, complex road of someone's love life.

This is one of the best indi games ever, i need a Sequel for this, total would buy a fullprice Version for 40 to 60 Euro if it had an aracdy Mode, MP or 12 Hour Gameplay. I bought it yesterday on my Switch and im so in need for a next shot on my Nintendo Switch of this. This is Art and Entertaiment at its best, great work.

This game is a masterpiece of art and sound. Simogo did an amazing job. This game fights depression, it’s empowering in so many ways. It’s my game of the year 2019 and on my personal list of favorite games of all time. I hope it continues to sell well and I’ll make sure to share it with as many people I know. I finished both the Last of Us 2 and Sayonara Wild Hearts in the same week. Strangely enough, although both games are amazing, this one made me cry and TLOU2 didn't. Not because it's sad or depressing, but because it's just so PRETTY. All of it. The banging ass music, the minimalist art direction, the varied and challenging gameplay and level design. It's all just so goddamn good. When it was over, it brought a tear of respect and joy to my eye. Bravo!

Just bought this game from the trailer alone. I haven't played something so inspiring, fun, and surprising as SWH in years. Every single level topped the previous one with incredible music, evolving gameplay, and twists you just have to play to experience.
This game was like all the best parts of NiGHTS into Dreams, Bayonetta, and Audiosurf mixed together in a unique and memorable package. The balance of simplicity/accessibility and challenge/score chasing is marvelously done. 10/10
